Mark Noonan is more Catholic than the nuns who endorced the health care bill

In his mind, that is.

Mark,

Are the nuns who called for passage of the bill also fools?

Yes, sadly – we’ll have to take that up with the Bishop’s; they weren’t, perhaps, firm enough in Catholic teaching on this. Any Catholic who votes for this bill has gone directly against Catholic teaching. There’s just no way around that.

And, of course, the more traditional sisters – those, for instance, who wear the habit – are strongly opposed to this horrendous bill.

If I were one of the nuns who came out in support of the bill, and had devoted my life to the teachings of the Church, i'd be deeply insulted by Noonan lecturing me about how to be a good Catholic. Since i'm not, I find Noonan's holier-than-thou shot at the nuns laughable. Mind you, this bit of bogus grandstanding comes from the man who stated on his blog that total war against the Muslims was necessary, even went as far as to say that the the total body count doesn't matter, because the ends will justify the means.

I haven't read the Bible in a while, but the last time I checked, Jesus never advocated total war against his fellow men.

Of course he is. He's also more Godly than God just ask him.
