They're Here! They're Queer! The Right Refuse to Get Used To It!

As we know, President Obama this week, made history this week by coming out of the closet in support of gay marriage. The asylum at Blogs for Victory.com didn't take the news too well, as you might expect, but more on that in a minute. Matt Margolis, the resident attack is livid that Dick Cheney, who came out in support for gay marriage, isn't being showered with praise from the media. Yet the article he linked to tells the story as to why Cheney isn't getting, as Margolis feels, the attention he deserves: Cheney came out in support for marriage equality.....in June of 2009, almost six months since he left office, whereas Obama was the first official in office to actually utter his support for this particular issue. Big difference there, Matt.
As I stated earlier, the mental patients in the asylum of a blog, didn't take the news too lightly...

America was founded on the Declaration of Independence. Its foundations lie under the respect of the laws of nature, and of natures God. Any medical doctor will tell you what the human reproductive system is for. Sodomy is not sex, it is deviant sexual behavior. It is not reproductive behavior; it is nothing more than selfish lust and is a huge indicator of sex addiction. Homosexuality is an abomination of the human body, and its reproductive system. An abomination is aberrant behavior, deviant sexual activity, and is often a part of a lifestyle that includes alcohol abuse, drug abuse and depression.

There is no protection for an imagined civil right to deviant behavior.
That was just one of the many comments you'll find that show their feelings on the news story which I'm not going to link, monstly because it's the lot of them using the Bible to justify their own prejudice, a pastime which has been well documented on this site for years now. The one question I have about this whole affair is why do they amass so much energy into raling against gays and lesbians getting married? What difference does it make if two men are married or two women?

Anyone honestly surprised by this story?

In case you don't know this man, he is Alabama's Attorney General Troy King. King is one of those crusading traditional conservatives, who rails on the gay/lesbian community, as demonstrated in an email he wrote to, The Crimson White, for having a gay/lesbian alliance on the campus of a college:

The existence of the Gay/Lesbian alliance on this campus is an affront to the state of Alabama, its citizenry, this diversity and its students. However, it is also an outrage to compel those students with both moral and religious objections to the activities and ideas espoused by this organization to contribute money, via student fees, to subsidize these activities.

One has but to look at the forces which the controversy has united--from the American Civil Liberties Union to the National Organization of Women to the Queer Nation just to name a few--to clearly see how corrupt a cause this truly is.

If you think his hangup on gays and lesbians stops there, well then you need to be reminded of his outrageous bill he helped pass, banning all sex toys in the state of Alabama - which was quickly overruled a year later.

Well, he's in the news today, and he's in quite the scandal: King was caught having (drumroll please...) homosexual sex with his gay male assistant!

This may come as a shock, but a prominent anti-homosexual Republican attorney general has apparently been caught having homosexual sex intercourse with his homosexual gay male assistant. Bonus: The dude’s wife caught him, in their bed. This is the rumor that the AG’s office has officially denied, so now of course everybody is spilling the sordid details.

AG in question is Troy King, who, of course, is only interested in outlawing homosexuality and sex toys. His gay lover is either a college “buddy,” or a very young youngster and “Homecoming King” from Troy University. What are the odds of a dude named Troy King getting caught in bed with a Homecoming King from Troy University?

Isn't there an old saying somewhere about those who live in a glass house shouldn't be throwing stones?

Dipping A Toe In The Fundie End Of The Pool...

After two weeks uncoupled from the Internet, it was with some trepidation that I once again paid a call at Fundies Say The Darndest Things. I fear I was not disappointed.

People who have not served in the military, especially those that have not been in combat, have no clue what having an openly gay person coming on to you does to unit cohesion. It's bad enough if you have an effeminate acting male. But, "openly" usually means the ones that are not shy about coming on to total strangers.

And, this does not even address the issues of HIV and other STD's... Or other things that do not require intimate contact but merely sharing a foxhole...

OK...usually I can't bear not to deconstruct the nonsense at Fundies Say The Darndest Things in excruciating detail. But there were two back-to-back, appearing today, where the lunacy really does speak for itself, rendering my very brief comments almost unnecessary. Behold!

OK, I have just about decided that Ralph is really performance art, and the recently-banned early2it is just a kind of deluded coot. This guy, honed in on from Fundies Say the Darndest Things, is a prize-winner who tops them both for incoherence and bizarre "thought." The whole thing is here but I offer a tidbit below to whet your appetite. Like our pal Jer and many a winger, he can't quite figure out whether he's angrier at gays or atheists, but he knows it's all one vast conspiracy to deny him his birthright of power and glory.

Well, it's not the endless sermon we're used to from Jeremiah, though I'm sure that's waiting in the wings. No, instead, today Jer borrows a page from the GOP to ask his handful of readers their thoughts on DADT. * sigh * So few sentences, yet so much that is simply wrong. Read on.

Should The "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Policy of Our United States Military Be Overturned, Or Left Alone?

Going to have a little question, answer session here, today...

Okay, my answer is, it should be left alone. Either that, or overturn the law, and disallow homosexuals from serving in the military at all.

Why?

Quite simply, to maintain the integrity of our men and women in uniform, because that's what our Military is all about, and in order to maintain their integrity, they need to be held accountable to a high standard. Perversion is about as low as you can go, and therefore, should not be specially protected.

No surprises here. We all knew this was the angle Jer was going to take, though he does it with a smugness that is jarring; particularly if, like me, you also are getting a little tired of the teabagger crowd constantly equating military service with something approaching Impending Sainthood on the societal values scale. You'd think it was the only occupation of any redeeming value in the world.

But my reaction to this can be summed up pretty completely in a single question.

Where would you stop, Jeremiah?

At what point would institutionalized discrimination against (or in favor of) any given group of people become just Too Much for your tender tummy to stomach?

We know that he doesn't care for openly gay service members. What about women? Jer would probably argue that their mere presence in the military is a temptation to sin, so they had better be kept out. If the boys want someone to fondle, there's always the womenfolk of whatever country we happen to be invading. I mean, they're foreigners. They don't count.

And, you know, while he's at it, Jeremiah might condone a religious litmus test, to make sure no scary Jews or Muslims or Pagans or any other faith of which he disapproves are allowed to serve. Forget all that flowery Constitutional language to the contrary. No, sirree - we had better act fast to make sure that all that bloodshed happens only in Jesus' name.

And then there's the government that sends those troops off to war. Shouldn't they be held to a high standard and be all about the Integrity? Presto! Jer has a rationalization for all government offices being staffed only by straight men. (We haven't gotten into the racial stuff, yet, but I somehow suspect that in Jeremiah World, "men" translates to "white, conservative men." I could be wrong, but I doubt that I am.)

And if government is a white-straight-Christian-boys-only club, well, then, who ever thought it was a good idea for non-Caucasians, women, those of diverse faiths, and gays to be allowed to VOTE? There's your problem right there. Take anybody who doesn't toe Jer's line right off the voter rolls. The dilemma is solved! Arguably, forever, since only clones of Jeremiah...well, and corporations, according to the Supreme Court...will be considered citizens. World without end, amen.

See, Jeremiah, here's the thing. What you like to call a group's "special protection," most of the rest of us call "equal rights and nondiscrimination." If the USA is "the greatest country on Earth," as I daresay is your claim...then how is that greatness enhanced by endorsing any level of discriminatory practice, in any sphere of society; much less in service to the nation?

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." "Men," of course, to be construed in the sense of "all mankind."

Admit it, hypocrite Jer. You love to wave the flag, but don't give a rip for the real values it represents. In your universe, "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" are the purview only of a select few. THAT point of view is what is "about as low as you can go," and it most definitely "should not be specially protected."

Obama Picks Another Extreme Left-Wing Democrat For the Supreme Court

To be firm, Ms. Elena Kagan is unfit for the title of Supreme Court Justice of the United States. She has very little if any experience in law, and no judicial experience.

Is that right? How do you get to be the Dean of Harvard Law, and then Solicitor General of these United States, with “little if any experience in law,” then, Jer? SuperLotto?

Worst of all, she has sought to destroy the foundation of our society, that being marriage, the institution that holds our nation together, literally. Without marriage (the bond between One man and One woman) we have no unity.

But, wait, Jer. Kagan has stated that she does not believe the Constitution grants a specific right to same-sex marriage under the equal protection clause. How does that square with your assertion that she wants to shred traditional marriage as an institution? Seems to me you’re grasping at straws.



Ms. Kagan also fought the "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy that our military has to disallow homosexuals from serving openly in the military.

Not exactly, Jer. She disallowed military recruiting on campus because of the school’s anti-discrimination policy, which she found the DADT policy in violation of; and, when a final ruling on the issue was handed down, she reversed her decision and reinstated the recruiters’ position. Don’t you want justices who will hew to the rule of law?

And to be honest, I don't like the law either, but not for the same reasons that she does...she wishes for homosexuals to serve openly in our military, which would do more harm than can be said on these pages, worst of all, it would feminize our military and cast a blot upon the institution - an institution that has been one of honor and nobility, men of character who stand for what is right, and not what is wrong/perverse.

OK, first of all, the military already includes women, like it or not, so your characterization of it as an all-male institution of mainline manly-manliness is plain wrong. Second…you have NO idea whether or not Kagan would endorse DADT as a policy or not, nor whether she would support openly gay military service (though I hope she would). The only facts at your disposal are her enforcement of Harvard’s campus regulations regarding discriminatory organizations recruiting on campus. For anything more, you, like the rest of us, will have to await confirmation hearings in the Senate.



Just as expected, Obama will destroy the institution of marriage and our military. He is destroying our country from within!

Of course, all homosexuals are atheists, but not all atheists are homosexuals ... however, overall [...] in the atheist worldview there is no objective morality ... I mean, birds have better sense than most atheists have.

Hmm. Guess not. After he's left off any attempt to explain why he thinks "all homosexuals are atheists" (what's next, all straights are Republicans? all transgendered folks are aliens?), I don't suppose we should remotely expect him to tackle backing up his statement on objective morality. Or ornithology.

Getting back to the pornographic aspect of this thread ... this is one aspect of atheism, as there are many other practices, and or philosophies which fall under the same heading-atheism. So, pornography is just one aspect of atheism. Pornography is probably one if not the single most effective destroyer of life in the atheist's arsenal of weaponry.

Oh, I see. All homosexuals are atheists, so therefore straight porn is one of their chosen weapons against the bastion of purity that is Jeremiah. Perfectly logical. So many people think that the women who get caught up in pornography are the "victims" ... well, that' not entirely the case, but women do put themselves in a highly risky business when doing porn shoots and movies for a "job."

Well, that's dismissive for ya!

Men must not be left out of the victim equation, because they too indeed, become victims...especially those men who become sex addicts. A severe level of brain-damage occurs with sustained levels of epinephrine going into the blood-stream...this chemical is released when excited or frightened in varying amounts, depending on the level of excitement or fear, and it is meant to prepare one to fight or flee the scene, it's like instinct...it puts more blood to the lower extremities, to prepare one to run, in essence ... so that is a healthy thing, in a sense.

Jeremiah is not a doctor, but he plays one on the Internet. Particularly when he's talking about other people "playing doctor." Better not dwell too much on those lower extremities, Jer - you might hurt something.

But there are times when it is not so healthy, such as when lust becomes a factor, looking at pornographic material in a book or magazine, or watching pornographic films/channels on the television, or on the Internet.

Wow - sounds like he's done some very complete research! Someone find this man's Netflix account and PPV statement, stat!

The combination of epinephrine, and the image works to cut a channel into the brain so that eventually, that is the only part of the brain that works, the part surrounding those images that have been stored into it, while the other parts of the brain become atrophied altogether so that that person cannot function in a normal way, or have a normal life.

Is it just me, or does this sound like a really confused version of a graphic from a 1950s educational film? Or maybe one of those responses you hear from schoolchildren every Thanksgiving, describing how to cook a turkey?

So, yeah, men become victims to this terrible fate of damage done to their brain through the viewing of pornography. Not to forget, also, that pornography is the leading cause of family break-ups. Wives feel rejected due to their husbands looking at other women through the various means of objectifying them. Many broken hearts can be accredited to the atheists pornography, and likewise souls spending eternity in a hell that burns without ceasing.

Now pornography is the "leading cause of family break-ups," is it? Crockery-flinging arguments and pathetic apologies, maybe. Break-ups? Not so much. I'm pretty sure it pales next to infidelity, financial woes, and a host of other culprits. But don't worry about that scary brain damage, guys, because according to Jer, you're hell-bound anyway...

God help our country. If you know of a friend who is addicted to this horrible atheistic disease, please try to encourage them and help them to break free from it.

Reality is this; If your only qualification for marriage is that you love each other, then you have to provide that same, equal basis to everyone. Fact; people love their pets. Our battle goes beyond gay marriage though. If you google “gay lestian schools” you will find a much louder danger. GLSEN is gay lesbian straight education network, a club you could say. They are being established in schools across the USA.

They provide instruction and resources to guide individuals into forcing schools into accepting thier clubs. The ACLU backs them.

They are perverting our schools with lies. They are filling young peoples heads with propoganda, encouraging them to try homosexual behavior, misrepresenting that it is a normal behavior, omitting facts and further confusing our children, some of who are going through a hard enough time figuring out things with out all this misdirection.

These people promote a lifestyle that is deadly. They dont belong in our schools, or anywhere near our kids.

Apparently you haven’t studied enough to know the truth about how God feels about Sodomy.

If you remember, when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, He told Abraham, as He revealed to him His plan to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, and what did He say?

The Lord said, ‘If I find fifty righteous (innocent) people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.’”

So, since we know God didn’t spare Sodom, what would this mean? It meant that all of them had committed Sodomy, the men, the women and all, there were none that were innocent, they were all guilty.

The purpose of sexuality as revealed in the Bible is the propagation of children in a loving, intimate, heterosexual relationship that endures for life.

The re-definition of marriage to include same-sex couples will ultimately devalue and eventually eliminate the institution altogether.

You see, what’s happened, is the less people read the bible, the more it is translated, just as you’ve done, Ricorun. So you would be considered the “Secular Progressive” - Theologically speaking, in which moral institutions are re-defined until they have become something they aren’t. With homosexuals, you have high promiscuity, some reports say somewhere upwards of 1,000 partners. But the norm was around 500. So you can see why venereal disease is such a problem in America, the Sodomies are possessed.

Sperm buries unto the walls of the colon, and carries with it the disease carrying waste from your intestines into the bloodstream. Particularly AIDS. Bowel Syndrome. Cancer and so on. The rectum wasn’t meant for sexual intercourse, it was meant for expelling waste.

I can understand that you see sodomy, as equivalent too, or as “less important” than the other sins. But that’s where you don’t understand sin. The one thing you have to remember, my friend, is that to God, sin is sin…and what sin was THEN is sin just the same today. Why? Because God DOES NOT CHANGE! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you read the book of Jude, just a few verses long, he says the same people that suffered the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah stand as an example for those who will suffer the punishment of Eternal Torment. And that transcends until the end of time, or when Jesus returns.

One other point, an imperfection is different from something that we know is wrong. Sodomy is a choice, and they choose, usually by influence of their so-called “friends”. Just like the Canadians are dealing with, DT and Joe, Both condemn me for rejecting homosexuality. Is it wrong to reject such filthy behavior? I really dont think so. Its protected under the US Constitution. Its not a hate crime.

Its what normal people do every day, many of whom just dont want to go through the hassle of defending what they believe is right. They would rather not have to fight it, but thats changing. More and more, as this phenomonon spreads, you find what were once typical, healthy families, waking up to a cancer in our society. Homosexuality is being sprigged in our educational system by activists whose intent it is is to change America by infecting our children with false beliefs about homosexual behavior, both medically and sociologically.

In the end, is it worth the fight to protect our children from these predators?

The bastion of homosexuals and liberals is thier ability to attack religion, and blame it for the mass of thier ill concieved failures.

The truth about homosexuality is that medically, and morally, its a disgusting practice. Its like they argue that doing what medical doctors state is hazardous, by sodomizing each other, or ingesting the bodily waste of another human, is a “natural” thing because some monkey did it.

The real truth is that homosexuality is a lie. The term homo represents all men, male and female alike, as in homo sapiens. The term actually is a mask for the real names of these acts, sodomy, or (other odd things). There is nothing romantic, nothing attractive, with the truth. So they pervert the word homo to represent thier perverted sexual activity.

It is a sin, just like the good Father stated. Nothing will ever change that, not the sodomites, nor thier government, nor the activists that they send forward to do battle for thier sick behavior.

Governments may give them the right to sin, but no Government can stop it from being a sin. Hate crime laws were not intended to circumvent free speech or freedom of the press, both rights under the US Constitution. When speaking the truth is held as hate crimes, then truely anarchy is our form of government, and not democracy.
