John McCain Loves The American Worker

I want to see more rolling of the Press' collective eyes when McCain tries to equate "economic fundamentals" with "the American worker." It's so transparently not what he meant, it's laughable.
Also, good for Claire McCaskill on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show tonight, pushing back on the "If only Obama would join me for all those town halls I wanted, things wouldn't have to be this nasty" tripe. Riiiiight, Senator McCain. Your journey to the Dark Side had nothing at all to do with your naked ambition to be President no matter what the moral cost. Noooo, sirree. It's that stubborn Obama, refusing to let you dictate his schedule and agenda, who's forcing you into the crescendo of lies and position reversals and sneering that has come to characterize your campaign.
That's not change. It's excuse-making. Not something we need for another four years.
ET or anybody: I don't know if you read the mains of NH much but you remember the blowhards who used to defend the economy by bragging about the stock market and then lying about how much money they made in it. (2008 anyone?) What are these clowns saying now that the stock market has crashed for the second time in 3 days?

Hmm...the phrase "Brother, can you spare a dime?" comes to mind.
Houndy is defending the Fed bailouts thusly:
I guess we could just let all those people lose their jobs and then you would blame Bush for the unemployment problem. The Real Houndwatcher | 09.17.08 - 12:07 pm | #
And 2008 is blaming Clinton:
The liberals would be wise to check and see what their hero Clinton did with the "Community Reinvestment Act" that Slick Willy strengthened, allowing those who never should have got loans in the first place to receive them eh? . 2008 | 09.17.08 - 12:40 pm | #
But mostly they're spending their time defending Caribou Barbie's tanning bed...
Good Ole McMetal Smacking down 2008's sorry ass...
Obama:
“The fact that we have reached a point where the Federal Reserve felt it had to take this unprecedented step with the "American Insurance Group" ....
LOL!!!!
Nice try Obama.....
Do a little homework next time
AIG : American International Group eh?
Good Grief the "Messiah" doesn't even know which corporation he's speaking about...

And today, it seems the Rude Pundit agrees!

Hey they haven't had this much quality sex in years. I mean it's not easy getting yourself excited about Laura Bush.

John McCain loves the American worker like an arsonist loves the fire department.
