It's official: Sarah Palin scares the living shit out of me

Out of all the gaffs, the cringe-inducing interviews, and the revelation that she's a certifiable Jesus freak, if there's a final consensus on why this woman should not be anywhere near the Vice-Presidency, let alone, the Oval Office, it's her comments during the VP debate about the role of being the Vice-President.

I'm thankful the Constitution would allow a bit more authority given to the vice president if that vice president so chose to exert it in working with the Senate and making sure that we are supportive of the president's policies and making sure too that our president understands what our strengths are.

Uh, Sarah? Few things:
1.) the Constitution doesn't say that.
From Section 3 of the Constitution:
"The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.

The Senate shall choose their other Officers, and also a President pro tempore, in the absence of the Vice President, or when he shall exercise the Office of President of the United States."

2.) Exactly how is wanting to change the Constitution to allow the Vice President more executive power the kind of change leadership Americans are looking for? We've just endured eight years of a Vice President who's acted as if he's above the law or the duties described in the Constitution!

This country doesn't need another four years of a power-hungry ambition mentality running amok in D.C....especially in the Office of the Vice Presidency.

flat out awful and the fact that some many "pundits" including the AP "surprise surprise" said she did well or won makes me week for my country.

Thankfully the polls of who won show we aren't as stupid as the CMSM thinks we are.

The electorate actually seems to be more interested in substance than fluff this year, thankfully.

And to think I once thought that there could be no more embarrassing figure on the national radar than Dubya. Miss Perky McWinky has just about outdone him - gee whiz, you betcha.

ET I respect your opinion immensely. Well all of your opinions. I didn't think she was much better than she was with Curic. She didn't answer questions, she talked in jibberish said you betcha a whole lot and the media said...Wow she really came through! Did I miss something?

I think we're on the same page, Count. Maybe there weren't any of those pregnant silences or floundering for the point as with Couric and Gibson, but those rambling responses didn't contain much substance at all, and that's the fact the voters are noticing but the pundits aren't.

And, Ralph? We're all looking forward to your November 5th post. Shall I pop the CROW in the oven now so it's nicely well done for you?

I think most of the doddering old men in the Republictard party were wanting to "drill, baby drill!" Palin.

That's her appeal.

Raphy likes,undoubtedly.

YAKKI!!!!!!!!!!! Where have you been?

Did you see Rich Lowry's rapturous response to Miz Sarah, Yakki? It's downright scary to behold. "Little starbursts around the room," indeed! You know that's code...

Nice to see you around, BTW.

Yes but what did Rich Lowery send towards his screen?

I'm just hoping he wiped it up afterward, Count. ;-}

Keith O sure enjoyed skewering that story in Worst Persons tonight.

Been living brother.

Been campaigning some, for Sen. Obama of course. Not in any real official capacity. I'm not on any of the Obama teams or anything. Just putting up signs and what not.

Mostly just been watching things tho,and taking a break.

But I am damn happy to be back amongst the cyber-folkies!

And to see Ralph posting here made my week. I felt like I was watching Palin and she winked at me.

With that devlish,"I'm a fucking moron but I got a pair of legs" way.

Gotta retrieve my google identity tho lol. I forgot my password and haven't done it yet.

What did Lowry send towards his screen?

Well,it's the reason Palin was "winking".

Spunk will do that too ya.

Oh wait. that was his mAnn Coultface blowup doll. The one with the "still swinging" cock action and teh jiggling adam's apple.
