Just a couple of items that caught my eye.

First one hat tip to commanderbond.net

Another James Bond novel by Ian Fleming has been lined up for publisher Macmillan’s English Language Teaching (ELT) series.

Due for release on 31 January is Diamonds are Forever, Fleming’s fourth 007 adventure, originally published in 1956.

This Macmillan paperback edition will run at 96 pages and retail for £4.00. It is currently available to pre-order online:

So what is so newsworthy about this? Well it's part of the "English Language Teaching Series" and they misspelled Fleming on the cover that's not a real good sign.

Second hat tip goes to Roachman who posted this gem from newshounds in the comments on the thread below.

Sean Penn, basically unknown until marrying madonna and punching one too many paparazzis, should move to Venezuela.

Guess he's kind of at a loss as to what to do with himself now that Bush is no longer president.

Here is a great WWII War Poster. Celebrity Anti-War Protesters Traitors should heed this advice:-Muldrake's words

So let me get this straight. The soldiers are dying for my freedoms. But they're freedoms that I should not have and should not be able to exorcise. So why exactly are the soldiers fighting and dying again?
