Weather Update.

There were several storms including Tornadoes and hail in eastern Nebraska today and I just want to report that the most violent stuff was well to the west of us.

I am sick today with sore throat and the chills and whatever else so I was actually taking a nap when the sirens went off and since I left the door open I had 2 dogs and a cat in with me.The Contessa was just getting off work when the sirens blew but again the worst of the storm was well to the west of Downtown and us. Seems like West Omaha where all the well healed Republicans reside gets the worst of the weather. :)

So to repeat the worst of the weather missed us.

Glad to hear you didn't get nailed. I thought we had it bad in Boston with the snow and cold....

Do you usually get snow this late? We are suppose to get some this week which is just dandy. Even after saying we would get some 70 degree days and get suckered into thinking the worst was over and then boom we would get bombed I still fell for it.

BTW Watched the C's game tonight and I am glad they won but this team has to struggled to hold leads all year.

Glad to hear (again!) that you're unscathed.

Bloody cold here too. It barely topped 40 today and is supposed to dip down to 28 tomorrow night...all about 12-15 degrees below normal. Any other year we'd be coming out the other side of daffodil season right about now.

I don't normally mind winter, but this I'm getting weary of...

Not everyone in West O is a rich republican...or a Jay's fan. Although I admit there are a lot of both.

I know that. And last year when we had the bad wind storm it was out neighborhood that looked like Baghdad. Un like some people I honestly don't believe weather disasters attack for religious or political reasons.

Well, the storm might have hit us last year and this due to the large number of Jay's banners in my neighborhood....I believe that with all my heart.

I am so glad their season is over.
