NFL commentary

So I've got a few comments on a few of the big stories so far in the in the NFL offseason:

1.) LaDainian Tomlinson is still a Charger for three more years.

2.) T.O. takes his dog-and-pony show over to Buffalo

3.) Bye-Bye Cutler?

First, on the LT conclusion: Hurray for L.T., deciding on the three-year deal that keeps Tomlinson in SD til 2011. The Chargers, with help from General Manager A.J. Smith (aka: egotist extraordinaire) have had a history of releasing big-named players like linebackers Junior Seau and Rodney Harrison, so as the drama revolving around LT - will he stay or will we have let go of another star player - has come to a resolution that ends on a happy note, maybe A.J. will take something from this experience: cast your ego aside and shut the fuck up.

Secondly, Owens moving to Buffalo: Am I the only person who sees this move as a disaster waiting to happen? And Dick Jauron is welcoming him with a 'clean slate?' Fuck that! T.O. might be one of the best wide outs in the league, but he's still an immature little bitch who's two favorite pastimes include letting his ego get the better of him in the lockeroom and causing headaches for general mangers and coaches. What needed to happen was to tell Owens, upfront, that none of his antics would be tolerated here and let him know who's in charge. Give it time, and we'll hear Owens stirring up more shit before the season starts.

Lastly, the feud between Cutler and new Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels: I'm no Broncos fan, but even I'm scratching my head over this one. Why would you tell your franchise QB that he's expendable? And -- unless you're confident that your going to get something really good for Cutler -- why would you trade-up? The AFC West finally looks competitive for the first time in years: Kansas City acquired a new QB in Matt Cassel and LT's still playing in a Chargers uniform. How do you expect to compete in this league without your rising star quaterback?

Well Buffalo only signed him for one year I believe so I don't think they want him around. I think they are hoping for one year he won't be so bad. Honestly I would not want him.

Secondly after hearing Minnesota was looking at Mike Vick Sage Rosenfumbles didn't seem so bad. I mean he'll fumble 8 times on one game but he won't kill his dog.

Still...though Cutler sounds like a major headcase maybe Minny could have waited? Of course they had no way of knowing Cutler would come free.

Does Denver go after Mike Dog killer now?
