Broncos trading Cutler

The news story:

After numerous failed attempts to open a line of communication in recent days, the Denver Broncos have decided to pursue trading disgruntled quarterback Jay Cutler.

In a statement to Yahoo! Sports and several other media outlets, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said that the team came to the decision after both he and head coach Josh McDaniels tried unsuccessfully to reach Cutler.

“Numerous attempts to contact Jay Cutler in the last 10 days, both by head coach Josh McDaniels and myself, have been unsuccessful,” Bowlen said. “A conversation with his agent [Bus Cook] earlier [Tuesday] clearly communicated and confirmed to us that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos. We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded.”

What a stupid move by Denver. With a healthy Shawne Merriman returning to the field and LT remaining a Charger, and Kansas City picking up Matt Cassel from the Patriots, why would trade your franchise QB when two teams are gearing up to extremely competitive in the AFC West? It's basically saying, 'fuck it, we're starting from square one.'

They have to now Jonathan. First time he throws a brain dead pass for Denver people accuse him of throwing the game. Denver botched this from the start. I myself haven't seen where the guy is much more than self hype myself but at least he isn't full of self-hype and 90 like the last QB who ended up in NY. assuming that's where he goes.

The really scary thing is the Raider Coach has more Head Coaching experiance then the Bronco's Coach. And the raiders have a better quarter back, better running back, better recivers. If the management was not so fucked up (understated I know)the Raiders could come in second place to SD this year.

Sad Sad Sad even more so for the Broncos.
