Actually, Obama was elected the leader of the free world by the American people. And about the cult of personality? Can you blame Americans? We've been stuck with an incompetent adminstration that found new ways to make the Office of the Presidency look like a force for ruthless ambition and cutthroat power grabs at the expense of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Rule of Law. Sorry for fawning over an adminstration that looks like its being run by adults who understand the complexities of the world we live in.
Do keep in mind that the man who accepts his party’s nomination in front of 80,000 people has a problem with megalomania.

Personally, I think megalomania has pretty much set itself in concrete once you declare yourself "The Decider" to the national media.
The wingnuts just can't gracefully accept that far, far more people like our guy than were even willing to give their guy the partial benefit of the doubt. Someone call the WAAAAAHmbulance!
