McCain May Give Convention Speech From Disaster Zone
Politico | MIKE ALLEN & JONATHAN MARTIN | August 30, 2008 10:33 PMPresident Bush is unlikely to make it to the Republican National Convention and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) may deliver his acceptance speech by satellite because of the historically huge hurricane threatening New Orleans, top officials said.
But officials insisted that, the convention, scheduled to open here on Monday, will go on -- albeit in a more limited and sedate form, if Hurricane Gustav stays on its projected path. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin ordered a mandatory evacuation beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday after federal officials said Gustav could grow to a catastrophic Category 5, hitting Monday afternoon between East Texas and western Mississippi.

John....show some decency, for God's sake.
Because, you know, it's a sure sign of Presidential-caliber judgment to choose to fly yourself, your spouse and your newly-chosen running mate INTO a likely disaster zone on the eve of a freaking HURRICANE making landfall!!
For a guy who is behaving like he thinks he's Superman, he's carrying and unwrapping his own Kryptonite these past 48 hours. Unbelievable!
There's a troll on the TP thread about this right now. he can't come up with anything to defend his boy so he's going to an old stand by...Michael Moore.
I saw that. Talk about your reaching.
This clown on TP swore he was going to bed an hour ago and is still posting. Like I said a suicide troll that never dies. I wonder if his real name is Bob.
