It turns out that you can fool some of the people all of the time

There are times I begin to wonder if Mark Noonan really believes a lot of the crap that he spews in defending President Bush. Welcome to one of those times.

Lots of people have lied about Iraq. Saddam lied. The French, German, Russian and UN bureaucrats who were bribed by Saddam lied. Plame lied. Wilson lied. The anti-war movement lied. President Bush, though, didn’t lie - not even once, and not even slightly.

Uh, Noonan a few things:
1.) What possible gains could France and Germany possibly achieve aligning themselves with Saddam Hussien, let alone get bribed by the son of a bitch?
2.) So I take it Scott Ritter was on-board with Saddam, the anti-war movement in this country, etc. in making Our Great Leader look like a war criminal....after all, he was on the U.N. weapons inspectors who searched for Saddam's supposed stockpiles of WMD and announced that he didn't have jack to begin with.
3.) Do you think Scott McClellan, Colin Powell, and George Tenet would agree with you? It was they who had to push Bush's so-called 'truth'.
4.) So, in a nutshell, the people who believe that Bush's justification for going to war in Iraq was misleading lied about Saddam not having WMD, and president Bush is nothing more that an innocent bystander. But it begs a few questions: First, what would be the motive for allying ourselves with a mass-murdering dictator? For shits and giggles? Second, exactly how could we have been able to pull this off? Could there have been secret elections to send representatives from the anti-war movement, France, the U.N., etc to met with Saddam himself at some secret location and layout the plan in which to lie about Saddam having WMD, and we had lapdogs spread the propaganda about Bush is lying about Saddam having nuclear weapons?

Do you have any idea of how fucking stupid you sound right now?!

But wait, folks! It get better from here:

The anti-Bush effort vis a vis Iraq has been a sick combination of stupidity, deception and cowardice…all of it done for purely political reasons by people on the left (joined by a few on the right) who wish to harm the United States in general and President Bush in particular.

Let us give Noonan the beginning argument, that we all lied about Saddam claiming that he didn't have WMD. First, Mark: if we were stupid to be playing this game, how could we have pulled it off? Stupid people can't plan worth a damn! Second, if the initial goal was to deceive the American public that Bush was lying about Saddam having WMD, then the plan was a monumental failure, becasue at the time most of the American public believed and bought the president's argument for invading Iraq!

Again, Noonan - are you stuck on stupid?!

I swear, I couldn't make this shit up if I tried.

I love how Noonan is one of the last to believe that George W. Bush is America.

Noonan believes every word he types, Count. But I think you're overestimating his IQ by at least 6 points.
