NFL Draft And Open Thread

Tonight for the first time the 1st round of the NFL Draft is on Thursday night. Any thoughts on the draft or anything else talk about it here.

The first pick from the St. Louis Rams is Chief Sam Bradford

Yup I am a Lions fan!

In the first round, the San Diego Chargers select...RB Ryan Matthews of Fresno State!

Chargers GM A.J. Smith gave up a 1st round pick (no. 28), a 2nd round pick (no. 40), a 4th round pick (no. 126), and LB Tim Dobbins for Matthews. I hope he's good, cause he's got some big shoes to fill.

Late Edit From The Count:

Other than Tim Teblow getting drafted in the 1st round other than say the 4th or 5th where he should have been drafted there were no real huge surprises tonight. I don't think Of course I pissed off good old Captain America by pointing out that the only reason he got picked that high is because he is White and his Mommy made anti-abortion commercial. Too bad Cap.

Who do you think will be the no.1 draft pick? My money's on Bradford, and he'll go to St. Louis.

It's gonna be Chief Bradford.

The Denver Broncos with an incredible reach and a sure fire bust of a draft pick with Tim Teblow in the first round.

Really? Denver picked up Tim Tebow?
First Josh McDaniels runs Jay Cutler out of town, then Brandon Marshall. Now, they're taking a gamble on Tebow?

Winning the AFC West will be easier than I thoguht this year...

Well shit. None other than Captain America put forth the argument that Teblow tore up Orlando east and Middle Tennessee State no doubt he'll tear up the NFL.

Well, Tebow could. He was coached extremly well at Florida, and he's improved his throwing technique on Pro-Day.

Will he prove the skeptics wrong and be a big leauge QB? I doubt it, especially since he's going to be coahced under that arrogant dickhead Josh McDaniels.

As for Captain America - please lay off him, Count. I get along with him really well eventhoguh we disagree with each other from time to time. There's no need for name-calling against him. Thanks.

Nope sorry, Jonathan. I don't have a problem with you and him getting along and there is no rule we have to agree on everything. But I call them as I see them.
