I am a huge fan of Randi Rhodes (hell, she's the reason I began to listen to Air America Radio), but the comments made at presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and her former campaign advisor Geraldine Ferraro are, the be quite blunt about it, childish and stupid. Of course this is a fierce and hotly debatable Democratic primary race, and yes, emotions about who would be the better candidate are growing, but there is no excuse for the kind of behavior that has been displayed.

Well we will have to disagree here Jonathan. I am not a big fan of ms. Rhodes and I have a hard time with Democrats calling one of their own candidates a "fucking whore" That's what o'bob and truthy are for. We don't need to be doing it.
I agree Count.
I'm a huge Randi fan, but I also don't agree with her behavior in this instance.
BUT, my wife and I really did spend more than a little time with her on the cruise and both of us sensed that all was not rosey between Randi and AAR.
It's almost as if both sides were looking for a good reason to rid themselves of the other. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Randi Rhodes were intentionally 'pushing the envelope' in order to get suspended.
Yes, I know that doesn't excuse her behavior, but frustration does strange things, especially to strange people.
Of course, as always, what the fuck do I know?
The other thing is, I have been in her shoes, you are trying for a reaction from your audience so you tend to exaggerate your anger to elicit such a reaction. Hell that's a technique I use on the blog.
I have never met Ted Olson. He may not be a world class cock sucker.
Ok that's a bad example :)
I think it was a dumbass thing to say, unless there was some context to it I'm not seeing on the vid.
But really, this is no different than the damn bullshit that the Wingnut hatejocks spew daily.
Difference here,is that the Democratic party has proven, once again, that we police our own. Unliek the party of Foley.
I agree with the count. Randi Rhodes tried to be a hardass, and came off like a dumbass, no matter who you support in our total clusterfuck of a primary.
