Fuck what the rest of the world thinks of us!

That's fmrmarine's motto.

OK, I agree, living in America means you should learn English. But. We also have to do a better job– a WAY WAY better job– of learning foreign languages in order to communicate with other countries. Otherwise, we’ll continue to be seen as arrogant, and will lose a competitive edge against the rest of the world.

Also, if somebody says to you:

Cao ni, qu chi yingjing biaozhi, you’ll want to know what they’re saying.

froot

Cao ni, qu chi yingjing biaozhi, you’ll want to know what they’re saying.

WHY ?
we’ll continue to be seen as arrogant, and will lose a competitive edge against the rest of the world.

BALONEY!!
I could care less, about the rest of the world.
when you are on top there is no need to lower your self.
When you are climbing the ladder to the top, it is YOU who has to make the sacrifices and adjustments…

And fmrmarine wonders why the rest of the international community thinks we're just a bunch of arrogant blowhards...

Somebody needs to educate this dumbass about how "being on top" means that you by freaking definition depend on the foundation underneath you. In other words, those other nations about whom he professes not to give a rat's ass.

Suck it up, fmrmarine: it's not an American galactic empire, it's a globe full to the brim of nation-states with just as much right to exist, contribute and have their voices heard and acknowledged as the U.S. of A. Coexistence and cooperation are simple common sense. Wake up to it, or fall by the wayside.
