Levi Johnston is in big trouble at the Sarah Palin household.
After taking about sex on "The Tyra Banks Show," Johnston – the 18-year-old father of Bristol Palin's baby – was hit with a blistering response from Bristol's mother, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
"Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship," says the statement from the Palin family rep.
"Bristol's focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence," the statement continues. "It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child."
The statement ends, saying, "Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions."

Oh The irony. This is of course an undoubtedly true statement. But since Levi's mother is neither Governor nor the vice presidential nominee of a major political party they are forced to go on Tyra to further their quest for fame, attention, and fortune, while engaging in flat-out lies and gross exaggeration. Bristol on the other hand only needs Mommy to blow a Sean Hannity a good one and she's got untold time in front of the camera.
Then there is of course this gem...

Keep fighting the good fight on advocating abstinence there Bristol. As for Levi Johnston. He's White trash scum only interested in the fame but it was Sarah Palin, also White trash scum only interested in the fame, who made sure he would get his 15 minutes. It's Sarah Palin that keeps this story a live. If it weren't for you Sarah these two would be just two more teens who happened to make a dumbass mistake but instead in your quest for fame, attention, and fortune, with your engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship," You have made this a story that just won't go away as much as we want it to.
