Why are conservatives afraid of diplomacy?

JFK once told us the following: We should never fear out of negotiation, but we should never fear to negotiate.
Today, Mark Noonan is telling his conservative bloggers, to hell with diplomacy! Oh, and Obama talking about negotiations with Cuba? He's out of touch with reality and he has no business being running for President.
This is Obama hoping for change - he hopes that if he meets Raul Castro, there will be change. This is an amazingly ignorant view of the true state of affairs in Cuba, where Raul Castro has played the heavy for older brother Fidel for nearly a half a century. Legitimize Raul, and all you’ll do is tighten the shackles on the people of Cuba. It is time, Senator Obama, for Cuba to be free - which means you should agree to meet with Raul only after he’s opened up his nation to the light of liberty.

So when the hell has America become afraid of negotiating with characters we've never really cared for?
Oh, I remember, when President Dumbfuck entered the White House, implemented idiotic policies like Shock and Awe, If you're not with America, you're with the terrorists and closed himself off from any opinion that disagreed with his own until he heard what he only wanted to hear, throwing common sense out the window (along with the Rule of Law, Habeas Corpus, and the Constitution).
I don't know about you, Mark, but I remember when America actually talked to their enemies before we went to war. You should too, since you're hero Ronnie Reagan used diplomacy with the Evil Empire once and again during his two terms as president.
Besides that, our foreign policy of talking tough and threatening to bomb the crap out of other counties is a key factor into why our nation has fallen from grace in the eyes of the world community, you Neanderthal.

Have I mentioned how much I am looking forward to a President who doesn't feel compelled to portray a kid's Action Figure?

I left some comments on noonan's blog.

Let's see how long the chickenshit leaves them,or if he deletes.

He made one of those stupid ass Wingnut TPM's about "liberals always want to surrender".

So I says:

"You mean like Reagan,right?"

Bigger question why do liberals like Jonathan-who claim a majority of Americans agree with them-worry about right-wing internet sites. They also spend alot of time going about the '29 percenters' but if its really 29 pct who cares about them anyway. Reality if they know the '29 percenter' claim is just more liberal bullshit.

I got a great idea why don't give those who don't like the USA-Mugabe and most nations at the UN even more foreign aid and say we'll ignore whom they really are. That seemed to work in Clinton era when a majority of nations at UN voted AGAINST the us in UN General Assembly.

We have a hope, albeit a slim one, that someday you'll get a fucking clue and smarten up. As of right now though,I'm saddened by your lack of progress.

nutroots'r'us:

Stream of consiousness rants make absolutely no sense. Please try to slow down and actually make your rant understandable to educated people.

We'd appreciate it.
