The Reverend Jeremiah on Christian Nation vs. Secularist Nation

Good evening fellow Sodomite appeasers and Liberal Sinners, and welcome to another nightly edition of Reverend Jeremiah's batshit sermons. Tonight, Brother Jeremiah talks about the good ole days when America was a Christian Nation and how us Liberal bastards fucked it up. Enjoy!
Christian Nation vs. Secularist Nation.

The most deplorable aspect of this assault of the secular theory of civil government on our Christian institutions, however, is the fact that so many professing Christians have been led to join the ranks of the assailants. It seems almost incredible that men who accept the moral laws of the Christian religion, and who desire to honor Christ as King, can so far ignore our history as a nation founded on Christian truth, and be so blind to the teachings of sound political science, and the inevitable logic of secularism, as to strike hands with the aggressive movement that cannot rest until it accomplishes the utter de-Christianization of our institutions.

What happened?

It is true that government cannot teach morality or the merits of Christianity, the problem being - without a sound belief in the doctrine and teachings of the Bible, government has no place to rest upon for its foundation, in other words, government without Biblical laws is weak government; thereby, creating room for division. It is impossible to govern without Christianity, because it is Christianity from which the law was derived...The reason for this, is because there were some 2,000 years of Biblical laws before the Founders backing there judgment holding government together, and they knew that if that's what got them to where they were, then it is a must that they follow the same path, lest they be destroyed before they ever even made a start for America. One way, the best way we can look at it, is through the words of some of the very first Founding documents...

Some call him the "Father" of our Nation, George Washington ... He can be accredited for more than just our first President though...more to the point, he knew that unless there was a strong connection between government and God's Word, there was no way we could stand, as well as Ben Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson, just to name a few..and again, this proves that we were founded on Christianity, because all of the Founders, not just a few, but all of them, knew there was a power source much greater than themselves, and that the only way government could survive was through a dedication to that, and one Supreme Court ruling is indeniable truth of these historical facts...

It is more than just interesting to note that whenever the founding fathers wrote about "religion", they almost always were referring to "Christianity". Nearly a hundred years later, in the U.S. Supreme Court case of Church of the Holy Trinity vs. U.S.(1892) cited 87 historical precedents in its conclusion that, "Our laws and institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise. In this sense and to this extent, our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian." (italics mine) Although we hear much today about "the separation of church and state" , you will not find that phrase or that intent in the U.S. constitution. In fact, in an 1811 U.S. Supreme Court case (People vs.Ruggles) the court declared against a man for profaning Jesus Christ and the Bible, ruling that "whatever strikes at the root of Christianity tends manifestly to the dissolution of civil government.

Did you take notice what the Judge said there, Our Laws and institutions ... must be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise, because anything that would sever the connection between government and Christianity would be disasterous, because it would lead to mass moral degeneration...mor aptly termed - 'Chaos.'

Ben Franklin ... Once, when breakdown in the constitutional debates seemed imminent, he cooled the passions and restored the perspective of the delegates: 'Our different sentiments on almost every question,' he said, '...is methinks a meloncholy proof of the imperfection of human understanding. We indeed seem to feel our own want of political sidom, since we have been running about in search of it...I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth-- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice,is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assurde, Sir, in the sacrted writings, that 'except the Lord building the house, they labour in vain that build it.' I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance despair of establishing governments by human wisdom and leave it to chance, war, and conquest. ' I therefore beg leave to move-- that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business...' "

To this day, every morning Congress has prayer before they take session. Above the Chief Justice's chair, hangs a copy of the Ten Commandments.

On to John Adams...

February 22, 1756, puts it in perspective. "Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law-book, and every member would be obliged, in conscience, to temperence and frugality and industry; to justice and kindness and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love and reverence towards Almighty God. In this commonwealth, no man would impair his healht by gluttony, drunkenness, or lust; no man would sacrifice his most precious time to cards or any other trifling and mean amusement; no man would steal, or lie, in any way defraud his neigbor, but would live in peace and good will with all men; no man would blaspheme hi Maker or profane hi worship; but a rational and manly, a sincere and unafected piety and devotion would reign in all hearts. What a utopia; what a paradise would this region be!

Our Nation has to take a step back now, and see where they messed up in their thinking, When was it? Well, according to my age, it would be waaay back, as early as 1920 at the Founding of the ACLU, a Socialist organization whose main purpose is to abolish Christianity from the public square.
Christian Freedom has steadily declined since that day in 1920 to the present day. The ACLU has conived and sought every avenue at their disposal in which to undermine and thwart Christianity's influence on society, and one of their main strong points is through our Supreme Courts as an easy shot in their pursuits... such as in the Cross on the beach in Virginia case(PDF files).

Political activism has been an even worse assault on our Christian heritage by the ACLU, as they lobby for politicians running for office who suit their anti-Christian, hatemongering views, a live-wire for the destruction of America. Take for example Hillary R. Clinton, Barack H. Obama, Ted Kennedy, Jack (John) Murtha, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein, John Kerry, Robert C. Byrd, Barbara Boxer, Charles (Chuck) Schumer, John D. Rockefeller .... All advocates for the ACLU lawyers who seek to banish Christianity by way of law.

So, in actuality, it is the ACLU which is anti-government, simply because they are anti-Christian, anyone who is against Christianity is against government, against America. Just as the founder of the ACLU's own words, I am for Socialism, I am against America. And those were his own words. The ACLU has taken their position against America through their interpretation of "Seperation of Church and State." How? By using the State to do the very thing that the First Amendment strictly forbids, which says in the first half of the first amendment - or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ... And what is the State doing whenever they demand by the State that we remove symbols and demand that we stop preaching to the lost? They are violating our First amendment rights when they file lawsuits saying that "we cannot" erect crosses by the roadside ... and these lawsuits aren't even half the freedoms that the ACLU has stolen from us, and will continue to steal as long as Christians allow them too.

Wait! Maybe that's the problem ... Maybe it's because the majority of Americans as a whole could not care less about what the ACLU does, or how much freedom they take away ... You reckon that's it? Maybe the American people are moving away from the moral worth that the Bible has to keep America together. Maybe it's because America has accepted the lie of "tolerance" that the left advocates for.

Friends, my Christian brothers and sisters, we can't allow the ACLU to keep spreading their propaganda, and destroying America the way they're doing. We can't allow the ACLU and their cohorts the Liberal Left-wing in this country deceive people through their lie of tolerance and diversity, because tolerance for deviant lifestyles will only lead the State further depress freedom of speech. That is their primary goal, is to silence Christians, and then the State can do whatever they please, and the Sodomites can live however they want, abortions on demand. No law. Inescapable moral chaos!

Should freedom mean that people can do whatever they want without any restraint, without any responsibility to their fellow citizens....or even the government?

We have so-called "Christians" proclaiming the Divinity of Jesus as King, but yet, they don't want to serve Him, they don't want to proclaim the freedom that we have through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We go to Church to know the will of God for our lives, and to learn about what Jesus taught us we should do...we go to school to learn to read, write, do math, speak english, know history, do geometry, an assortment of different things we learn, the problem is, modern day skeptics or Secularists, by and large Atheists decided that the Founders were "wrong" and that after 500 years they've got it "right." The difference being, the Founders accomplished more through prayer, and a Bible class, than the Atheists will ever dream about doing, an Atheist, he can sit and spin the subject all day long, when the Founders already had the answer to their problems. You see, friends, Atheists will always have new answers, they'll never be consistent, and they'll never be right ... until ... they acknowledge the Divine Providence of Almighty God.

Closing

To Christian Conservatives: We need to speak out for the true freedom of our fellow Christians, or they're going to be taken away--The Scripture says in Proverbs 31:8 - Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Namely the little innocent children in the womb, and for each other.

God bless!

Jeremiah

I'll rad this tomorrow when I my head is a little fresher. I'm sure it's up Jerry's usual high standards.

A question does anybody know what age range Brother jerry resides in?

Its amazing how these evangelical idiots love to cherry pick quotes from the "Founders" to support their arguements, but they are suspiciously quiet when documentation is presented of the Founders support for keeping the church out of government affairs. Even the Founders realized that the country they had created would change and they planned for that when they wrote the Constitution. The Constitution provided for and has been interpreted many times by the Courts, a "Wall of Separation" between church and state, for the Founders knew all too well the insidious power that a government coupled with a church could wield from their own experiences with the Church of England.

Idiots like Jeremiah should take a look around at how much the country has changed and how beautiful and strong its diversity has made it before he applies the hammer of his religious beliefs to it.
