This sounded like an apology to me folks. I think you are making too much out of Bill O'Reilly's statement, in order to denigrate the man.
Somebody has to be on the right side, and it might as well be me.
I do not believe O'Reilly intended to have his comments have any kind of racist overtones.
He definitely used a poor choice of words. However do you really think that his intent was to stir things up with those comments?

No that's not what you are saying. It is purely subjective. I believe many on this site would love to make O'Reilly out to be a racist because they personally do not care for the man.

As for O'Reilly. I don't think he is a racist; he certainly could have used some different words in this latest instance, but then again he doesn't conform to PC statements as most of the liberal media would like him to :)

The term lynching is an expression that has come to mean to inflict punishment upon, especially death, without the
forms of law. It does not necessarily have to refer to a hanging like most on this website think it does.

O'Reilly maintains his independence, but won't stand for, nor will he be intimidated by a bunch of whiny lefties that analyze his every word.
