How many times must rational people - believers and non alike - must remind them that not everyone believes what they believe, and that they should not force anyone of a different faith (or none whatsoever) to subject themselves to thier religion?

Proud to be an American
At least no leader here in this country has the stones to say what the German Chancellor said on a live, international conference.

Try sending your kids once a week to a public school mostly filled with RW Christians. Annoying but the kids get along.
Oh the guy running for County Corner here claims all he has to do is manage the office and not do any of the work. No reviewing cases or checking in on the actual work being done. Which in this town he needs to do since the the guy currently in the position does. Of corse he has no Medical experence at all, the current guy is an MD. He also claims our head sheriff does not do any patrols or investigations. He does as do all of the head sheriffs in Colorado do. Then he claims the the Clerk in Recorder does not hand out licence plates. Which is true only because that job falls under the DMV which is under the Assessor Office, the evil tax people. But being Republican and not knowing the basic inner workings of government seems to be something to be proud of this year.
He also notes he is run for corner to improve our government and includes a recipe from his wife Call muffins "to die for" (quotes are his). One sick fuck. I wonder if the rest of his listed previous jobs are even true. Claims to be former JAG officer and terrorism expert.

I was shocked to see this.
Imagine! The Chancellor in a country that will never, ever shed the shame of the religious intolerance that occurred in the 1930's-1940's saying something so disgusting! I suspect that there are still Jews in Germany. The same religion that Hitler tried to eliminate by extermination. Merkle is saying they have no place in Germany.
