35% of Republicans think Pres. Obama should be imeached

Seriously.

Finally 20% of voters, including 35% of Republicans, support impeaching Obama for his actions so far. I'm not clear exactly what 'high crimes and misdemeanors' they are using to justify that position but there may be a certain segment of voters on both the right and the left these days that simply think the President doing things they don't agree with is grounds for removal from office. I don't think Obama has a lot to worry about on that front.

Also troubling in this poll: 44% of Americans wish Dubaya Jr. were back in charge. Yeah, because things were going so well before Obama entered the White House.

Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited. The closeness in the Obama/Bush numbers also has implications for the 2010 elections. Using the Bush card may not be particularly effective for Democrats anymore, which is good news generally for Republicans and especially ones like Rob Portman who are running for office and have close ties to the former President.

Of course, the mental asylum over at Blogs For Victory are salivating over these poll numbers, and a few of the resident mental patients are going over the top with their comments, just as I knew they would.

I don’t want Bush back anymore than I want Obama the Corrupt Dem in office. What I find absolutely fascinating is the complete change in our democratic republic to a Marxist ideology and no one doing a thing about it.
The only people I see standing up to Obama are Palin and Cheney. Glen Beck had the guts to call Obama a Marxist. Obama and his corrupt DEM admin should be tried and prosecuted for unAmerican activities. The next TEA Party on DC should be a million all packing guns and surrounding the WH and Congressional Building.
Am I calling for an armed revolution? You betcha!

I bet if I told uffy to tell me what Marxism really is about, he wouldn't know jack. If he did, he would know that Marxism gets a bad rap thank to dictators like Lenin and Fidel, who never followed Marx's ideals of a socialist utopia to the letter.
Or that Marx's greatest flaw in his economic theory is that the dictator proletariat would somehow give up their power willingly after social order is restored and communism begins to seep into the society.
But first, that would require two things: reading and critical thinking skills.

Second, uffy is calling for the overthrow of the federal government, which i'm pretty sure constitutes as treason.

Count your are spot on. Why do these repugs think that they so above it all when it was GW that caused most of the problems we face today?

Jim they liked GW for the same reason they like Sarah both are living proof you can have substandard intelligence and make it all the way.

Sarah needs to simply go away. She has no chance of ever being elected to public office outside of the great state of Alaska.
