On Her Majesty's Secret Service debuted on December 18th 1969 in both Great Britain and The States. In 40 years the film has gone from Mild success to being completely forgotten to becoming one of if not the most popular films of the entire series with it's most hard core fan base. In this case the fan boys of which sadly I am one get it right.
