No Wonder Ted Haggard is Such a Conservative!

It wasn't a priority, nor was Reagan much of a crusader for other behavior-driven fatal diseases, like lung cancer or cirrhosis of the liver. Reagan figured if people wanted to avoid a behavioral disease, they'd avoid the behavior. That was the cheapest and fastest societal solution. But Reagan believed they still had the personal freedom to smoke, drink, or do some serious butt-fucking if they cared to.
