Newsweek's Jacob Weisberg states the obvious

Fox News Channel isn't really news? Hell, it's un-American, he says!? Blasphemous!

Joking aside, this I what i've been saying for years about Fox News: Fox has every right to exist, just don't call yourself a news organization when you're blatantly carrying the agenda for one side of the political spectrum. If Murdock changed the name from Fox News Channel to Fox Opinion Newtwork, I have no heartburn with that. At least they would be honest (for a change) with their viewers.

They're a classic case of "begging the question." If you have to go to great pains to keep telling your viewers how Fair And Balanced you are, chances are very good that you are, in fact, anything but. Think Nixon's "I am not a crook." Every day might as well be Opposite Day at Faux Snooze Channel.

But you knew that.

Crooks & Liars offers up a screen grab that demonstrates exactly why Faux is nowhere near the realm of genuine news. Just look at the answer choices in the poll. Read 'em and weep, in fact.
