Wednesday Open Thread
This is the start of something kind of new. Every Wednesday I will have an Open thread. Anything you want to post about goes. We'll see how this goes.

Can somebody please explain to me Cash 4 Gold and the like? Let me get this straight I send in my Gold they give me what they think is a fair cash value exchange for it and since they now have my gold and I can't get it back and can't negotiate? Who would be so stupid? Well other than Ed McMahon and Hammer. I mean come on that Pawn shop may not be in the best neighborhood but at least you can say no thanks if they try to low ball you.
I think it must belong in the "sucker born every minute" category.
I had a boss like that, once. He fell for the "send dying child your business card" scam, and his wife for the "Klingerman Foundation spreads AIDS via mail" scam, until I told them both, very gently, that these were urban legends...
Nebraska went up to Boulder to play basketball and played an absolutely horrible game but thanks to the fact that Colorado absolutely sucks they still got out of dodge with a 55-53 victory.
