What really bugs me about this and Gates at Defense as well as other possible GOP appointments? That we GOPers might end up saving Obama from himself…in order to save the country, we might saddle ourselves with a second Obama term.
Ah, well, patriotism does at times require one to do distasteful things…

Mark Noonan is too full of himself, methinks
Mark, you seriously need to come down from that high horse you rode in on. Had it not been for the fact that your party had royally f'ed things up this bad for eight years, you'd still have Capitol Hill and the White House under your control.

To Noonan's little pea sized brain his party didn't fuck things up the last 8 years. It was all the Democrats fault. Afterall The almighty on high Rush said it was so himself.
Has anyone noticed that there are only a handful of regular posters on Noonan's site? Anyone with a modicum of intellegence has been banned or gave up in exhasperation. What is left are hillbillys. And what's up with that Jeremiah? I'm surprised he can even function in society. That guy is a lunatic and yet they continue to let him post there. If those folks are representative of the conservative base then the rest of us have nothing to worry about.

I agree. Honestly it's the representatives of the conservative base in the house of representatives that scares me more.
