"Right America: Feeling Wronged."

The New HBO Documentary by Alexandra Pelosi "Right America: Feeling Wronged." debuted. I refuse to watch it. I have been told from friends who have seen it that it is amazing how moronic McCain-Palin's most vocal idiots come off. The "Liberal" Washington Post whines that it paints an unfair portrait of Conservatives. Of course there are many who aren't on the lunatic fringe but we also know there are many who are. We saw them everyday on the news especially after Palin joined the ticket. We deal with them on blogs everyday. We laugh at their blogs like Americaphile but make no mistake these people are dangerous especially when they are given an avenue to express their beliefs. Glenn Beck on Fox has become the second right wing ideologue to suggest Civil War. These people do not taking losing well.

Like I said I refuse to watch it. I even object to the title these sick fucks are anything but "right America" but if you have seen it please discuss.

EDIT: This Post from MJ is just too good not to repost it here...

Retired CIA analyst Michael Scheuer even suggested that he approved of any ensuing Civil War. “I don't think the founders ever considered that there would be a tyranny of incompetence but I think that's what we're facing. And ultimately, that's the right of the American.”

OK - lemme see if I've got this straight . . .

These wingnut sons of bitches didn't say a fucking word when Bush said the US Constitution was just a "g-d piece of paper," and then proceeded to wipe his rear with it by suspending habeas corpus, illegally wiretapping US citizens, and torturing prisoners in Gitmo . . .

. . . and now these m'effers wanna yell about a "tyranny of incompetence"??

F Glenn Beck, F these a-holes, and F the Fox Comedy Channel . . . this SOB Scheuer needs to be arrested for advocating treason against the US gov't . .

I can not post on Ellen's threads but I'll comment here. These people scare me. This is the second time a right wing ideologue given a microphone has suggested Civil War and these are two people somehow excepted as "main-stream" or at the very least have a vocal following. We know from the Clinton years that the violence the right wing is capable of extracting from it's most extreme members.

I'm with you Count. The number of right wingers, most of them overwhelmingly republican, have been advocating violence against anyone who is Democratic, Liberal, or both. This Civil War talk is more fuel to stoke this kind of violent fire. Because of the veiled threats that have been occurring to my Liberal friends, a few of them are considering leaving the area for good. If things continue on this path, it may not be long before I decide to join them in exodus. We endured 8 years of incompetency and the Liberals all said they would either leave or endure in the hope that they could change things. The right wingers have endured 33 days of Obama, and the overwhelming consensus is to start killing your neighbor in Civil War.

If this isn't a clear indication of what kind of mental sickness these right wingers are dealing in, I don't know what is.

Add to this today's news that the new CBS VP of Communications is the guy referenced in this article as claiming that Obama is "incredibly dangerous."

Let that sink in. The VP of Communications for one of the nation's three major broadcast networks is on record as saying that the new President is dangerous. Not untested, not naive, none of those euphemisms he could have used. Dangerous.

It's a crowd-of-peasants-with-torches mentality that can come to no good.
