HO HO HO Trolls!

What you said about Emerson is complete nonsense. He has been investigaging and studying Islamic Jihad since the 1990s... at first at great personal cost to himself, as most people back then didn't see the threat that was developing.

Everything he was reporting about and the warnings he was trying to tell were all justified and in the end he was proved correct.

You guys have to throttle your ideology back just a bit.. it's really clouding your judgement.. are you not able to examine anything objectively?

Have you ever been on a jury? I was on one once and I can attest to the fact that bullying or otehr people caving into the demands of people with strong personality was very real and my case wasn't even that important.
When they're all convicted on retrial are you terrorist loving liberals all going to slit your wrists in sympathy ? I sure hope you do.
Thanks for posting the link to Ellen's 9 year old hit piece from the far left wing website. Emerson is certainly no fraud, he just pisses you left wing lunatics off because he tells the truth about fanatical muslims. You extreme leftists will keep apologizing for the muslin radicals until the day they thank you by chopping off that block of wood attached to your neck.

That document doesn't prove anything except that the author fundamentally disagrees with Emerson 100%.

The bulk of the article is finding people willing to characterize Emerson as an Islamophobe.

And also to take his statments about breaking news events which were only speculation as if he stated them as fact. Everyone knows that directly after a major news event that no one knows the truth until after a bit of time went by.

The article is laced in the language of identiy politics and political correctness. The author spends most of his time dismissing Emerson as a chicken little.

And the author of the article is a far-leftist journalist who is disinclined to view the radical Islam threat objectively.

The author defended the terrorist professor Al Arian.. so that alone should tell you that the man's judgement is suspect.

In any case, one or two mistatements by Emerson does not constitute fraud.

He was a pioneer in researching the emerging Islamic threat.. if he's a fraud, then it's an amazing bit of luck that he was onto something that no one else was and was absolutely correct in viewing the threat as major.

That he is dismissed with the usual nonsense such as "racist" just goes to prove once more that using words like that is the lazy man's way of shutting down speech without having to actually prove your side is correct.

And that alone should aquitt Emerson of the charge against him in that article from way back in 1999.

The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development

U.S. Designation Date: December 4, 2001 and re-designated on May 31, 2002

Background: The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) was designated under Executive Orders 13224 and 12947 as a charity that provided millions of dollars of material and logistical support to HAMAS. HLF, originally known as the Occupied Land Fund, was established in California in 1989 as a tax-exempt charity. In 1992, HLF relocated to Richardson, Texas. It had offices in California, New Jersey, and Illinois, and individual representatives scattered throughout the United States, the West Bank, and Gaza. In the year 2000 alone, HLF raised over $13 million. HLF supported HAMAS activities through direct fund transfers to its offices in the West Bank and Gaza that are affiliated with HAMAS and transfers of funds to Islamic charity committees ("zakat committees") and other charitable organizations that are part of HAMAS or controlled by HAMAS members. Mousa Mohamed Abu Marzook, a political leader of HAMAS, provided substantial funds to the Holy Land Foundation in the early 1990s. In 1994, Marzook (who was named a Specially Designated Terrorist by the Treasury Department in 1995) designated HLF as the primary fund-raising entity for HAMAS in the United States. HLF funds were used by HAMAS to support schools that served HAMAS ends by encouraging children to become suicide bombers and to recruit suicide bombers by offering support to their families. HLF and several of its directors were indicted on criminal charges in July 2004.

In paragraph order

1 - It's vague what they're alledging... are they saying he plagerized?

2 - Shock! The New York Times and the Nation thought he was an Islamophobe! They wold have used that word had it been invented then. They may be entitled to their opinion but just because they dont see the threat like he did, doesn't mean that he was not factually correct nor unreasonable in his analysis. If anything the NYT and the Nation were wrong to be so complacent.

3 - Is unclear. Are they saying he fabricated that the authorities suspected Yugoslavians.. or did he state correctly that Yugos were suspected even though later on it was proved that they were clear? Lots of people suspect foul play regarding TWA. The govt record sure does leave a lot of room for alternative theories.

4 - Many people still hold to the view of some sort of Iraq connection.

And the rest is all invective for people who have a personal thing against him.

All in all i'm sure you have a record that anyone involved in a controversial subject has. These things are so trivial yet for anyone looking for an excuse to remain in denial about Terrorism , it does give you the ablity to deceive yourself that you can dismiss what the man says as false.

And do you know why Putin is kissing Islamic ass?

Among large countries of the world, Russia is disintegrating the fastest. Her total fertility rate is down to 1.3 children per woman in her lifetime according to the United Nations Population Division, far below the replacement rate of 2.1. This is lowest low fertility from which no human society has ever recovered. An astounding 70% of Russian pregnancies end in abortion, taking stereotypical Russian fatalism to new depths. Russian men have a life expectancy on par with Bangladeshis.

Young people are emigrating out of Russia fast. In fact, her population is plummeting by 700,000 people a year and is already 5 million below its peak of 15 years ago. Given the sky-high abortion rate, very low birthrate, and rapid emigration of young people, Russia is aging fast. In 20 years, one out of four Russians will be 60 or over. Men in particular are dropping like flies: There are only 86.6 men for every 100 women in Russia (in the United States, it’s 96.8).

..

In 2015, less than ten years from now, Muslims could make up a majority of the Russian military

Last year, Russia ’s top Muslim religious leader Ravil Gaynutdin, chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia, asserted that 23 million indigenous Muslims live in Russia, which has a total population of 143 million. Russia also has about 4 million Muslim immigrants, making her total Muslim population around 27 million or almost 20%.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/ ar...MNGJGMFUVG1.DTL

Russia's overall population is dropping at a rate of 700,000 people a year, largely due to the short life spans and low birth rates of ethnic Russians. The country's 2002 census shows that the national fertility rate is 1.5 children per woman, far below the 2.1 children per woman needed to maintain the country's population of about 143 million. The rate in Moscow is even lower, at 1.1 children per woman.

But Russia's Muslims are bucking that trend. The fertility rate for Tatars living in Moscow, for example,is six children per woman, Goble said, while the Chechen and Ingush communities are averaging 10 children per woman. And hundreds of thousands of Muslims from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have been flocking to Russia in search of work.

Since 1989, Russia's Muslim population has increased by 40 percent to about 25 million. By 2015, Muslims will make up a majority of Russia's conscript army, and by 2020 a fifth of the population.

"If nothing changes, in 30 years people of Muslim descent will definitely outnumber ethnic Russians," Goble said.

No matter what happens, the loony left will NEVER admit the war in Iraq can be won. They have invested everything in quagmire and defeat -- so any good news will be rejected. It's a 60's thing.

Here's a question for the libs - why so friendly towards Islam and hostile towards Christianity? W.

Not yet. Iraq is just one front.

Our guys still have to raid a number of mud huts and shithole slum apartments throughout the world and shoot the murdering terrorist bastards in their beds.

and since it's no safer now, I ask again....what did we win by "winning" the war in Iraq?
Wonko the Sane | 12.21.07 - 12:32 pm

Stability.

Nope. We will build a muslim Disneyland in Baghad, and you guys can even have a gay pride parade there. Why is your vison so dark?

And defeatism is the new Democratic party in America -- former home of JFK.

The god of Islam is the arab pagan moon god... other than the claim of the demon who lied to Mohemmed, the god of Islam has absolutely nothing in common with the God of Israel.

What Mohemmed did was to fuse together the Babylonian-derived moon worship with (inaccurate) Bible stories...

So other than the false claims of Islam that it is the same god... it's not.

There's a great article on the evolution of moon worship

Not really. It's just that some radical Muslims saw off people's heads on TV. That's not very nice.

Comparing conservatives to nazis and fascists makes you sound crazy.

Do you walk around your neighborhood talking to yourself with your pants on backwards?

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities, liberals, communists, socialists, terrorists, etc. (Missing white women and black, Hispanic and Muslim villains are a Fox News staple.)

This fits Islamic doctrine to a T.

One of the final suras (the 9th) of the Koran instructs all believers in the future to bring the war of conversion to all the earth and kill anyone who doesn't submit or convert.

>The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy

The worldwide community of Muslims is called the Ummah..and this identity is to supercede all others. One is a Muslim before he is anything else.

>frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities, liberals, communists, socialists, terrorists, etc.

In this case, the common threat is in the form of man-made law. Man-made law is actually a service of Satan.. only Allah's perfect law, Sharia , is legitimate for humans to live by.

For a people to reject Sharia and impose thier own law is a form of idolitry which must be eliminated.

If the man-made law systems are not destroyed, then Muslims will always be tempted to leave Allah's law to join the Kuffar and Satan and live in a system that is an affront to Allah.

Ever since the Caliphate was abolished in 1922, true/pure Islam has not existed on Earth (according to them), so one of their first goals is to reestablish the only legitimate legal order , the Calipahte.. and once a Caliph is installed, the legitimate call for offensive jihad war will go out to all Muslims around the world... this call to jihad is obligatory to all Muslims everywhere.

Wow, that sure makes him seem knowledgeable. The Qur'an has well over 100 surihs.

jpbenney said...

The Qur'an does have 100 surahs.

However, as anybody with much knowledge of Islam should be aware, the order in the final book compiled well after Muhammad's death is utterly different from that in which they were dictated. Indeed, the longer surahs that are now earlier in the book were generally dicted much later than the short surahs at the end.

The Qur'an has in all 114 surahs.

However, when the Qur'an was put together well after Muhammad's death, the surahs were listed not in order of revelation, but generally by length but actually in groups with similar topics (I have read explanations for the observed order from authentic Muslim scholars)

This is why the ninth sura is actually one of the last were it arranged chronologically! It was actually a follow-up to the eighth surah revealed in 625 at the Battle of Badr.
