So that's how it is?

You fucking traitor!?

LaDainian Tomlinson didn't want to live in the past.

That's why, upon arriving in New York, he was inked with a New York Jets tattoo on his calf, to match the lightning bolt tattoo he's long had on the other half.

"I think that shows the type of commitment he has," Jets coach Rex Ryan said.

Or it shows the risks of starting a tattoo theme early in your career. Where's he going to put the St. Louis Rams tattoo next year?

Now I know how Packer fans feel (and by extension, the Count) when Jesus of Mississippi signed onto play for the Minnesota Vikings.

It's A Series

With two of their 4 best players giving them nothing and the officials bound and determend to give LA a 2-0 lead Boston maned up and got out of LA with a much needed split with a 103-94 victory tonight.

A few thoughts. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were MIA and it's amazing Boston was able to stay in this game and eventually win it with those two giving them nothing.

Ray Allen was out of his fucking mind in the first half and Rondo was an all-star in the second half.

Black Mamba hit some circus shot including one at the end of the half that sent me in to an F-bomb tirade but for the most part he was kept in check. Gasol continues to be outstanding.

Boston won the bench battle with Big Baby, Tony Allen, Sheed and Nate Robinson all giving huge minutes after KG got in early foul trouble.

LA shot 41 free throws Boston shot 26 and there were about 10 intentional fouls shots that made it that close. Officiating is no excuse. You won in Cleveland getting fucked you you won in LA getting fucked.

Finally Doc's message to the team should be clear. The one game you bothered to play here 2 of our best players gave us nothing, The officials dicked us all night long and you still won. When you show up you are the better team.

Game 3 will be a riot.

God Stuff

For those who remember The Daily Show before Jon Stewart had it it wasn't nearly the show it is today. However the one segment I always loved was "God Stuff"

R.I.P. John Wooden

LOS ANGELES -- Former UCLA basketball coach and Hall of Famer John Wooden died of natural causes on Friday at age 99, the school announced.

Little had been released regarding his condition.

Earlier in the day, former UCLA and Los Angeles Lakers star Jamaal Wilkes told The Associated Press that he visited Wooden in his hospital room twice this week and they chatted briefly.

Wilkes said Wooden recognized him and that the coach's mind remains "sharp as a tack," although he said the 99-year-old Wooden's body is "very, very frail."

During his second visit on Wednesday night, Wilkes asked Wooden if he recognized him.

"His glasses fogged up and he had to clean his glasses," Wilkes said. "He looked at me and said, 'I remember you, now go sit down."

Wilkes teamed with Bill Walton to help UCLA win NCAA titles in 1972 and '73. He was part of UCLA's record 88-game winning streak under Wooden.

Besides his grown son and daughter and other family members, Wilkes said Wooden has had several visitors since being admitted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on May 26, including Walton.

Rampage Jackson "Acting Is Kinda Gay"

UFC superstar Rampage Jackson makes his major acting debut in the upcoming movie The A-Team along with co-stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Jessica Biel.

He takes over the part of B.A. Baracus made famous by Mr. T on television.

But while Jackson seems to be ready for his closeup he doesn't seem totally comfortable in his own skin.

"Acting is kind of gay," Jackson told Chris Lee of the Los Angeles Times of his experience filming in Vancouver. "It makes you soft. You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you're cold. I don't want a coat over my shoulders! I'm a tough-ass (expletive)!

"Vancouver strikes me as a San Francisco-kind of place. And I don't want (expletive) getting ideas about me. I feel in my heart I'm the toughest (expletive) on the planet. And I don't want nothing changing my train of thought. If you don't believe that when we step inside the octagon, it shows."

It's kinda funny that Rampage calls acting "kinda gay" yet this is what he does for a living

Game 1 To LA.

102-89 LA.

LA kicked Boston's ass tonight let's just get that out of the way. I think it was somewhat encouraging that Boston had a chance in hell of winning this game for much of the 4th quarter when they had played so poorly for the first 3 quarters.

LA played defense tonight and defense wins championships period end of story.

I fucking hate Pau Gasol believe me I do but he was brilliant tonight. He schooled Kevin Garnett all night long. The stats may not suggest as much but Garnett was Pau's bitch tonight. If the Lakers continue to play better defense and Gasol continues to school Garnett that badly this series will not end well for Boston.

The only Boston starter who really brought it was Paul Pierce. Rondo was ok Allen was in foul trouble right of the bat (that 5th foul was a joke BTW) and Garnett shot it well but otherwise played very poor tonight. I love ya KG but you played like shit as I am sure you'll admit.

Not going to dog the Officials tonight because the team that played the best for the longest period of time won the game and I don't think they were un fair towards one team or the other but I really thought they were over officious especially early in the game on both sides. The first half was nothing but free throws. And how is it Wallace or Perkins get a technical foul for almost nothing and Lamar Kardashian is allowed to take the ball pout and do a trot with it with no call?

Anyway the good news is it was only game 1. The bad news is this was such a complete win for LA it's hard to generate much hope at the moment. if LA continues to dominate on the defensive end and Gasol continues to school Garnett LA will win this series...easily.

One thing as a Boston fan I am discouraged about. This team hasn't played a good game in the last 4. Yeah the beat Orlando pretty bad last Friday but they didn't play all that well. They need to play a helluva a lot better than they have played since game 3 or the Orlando series.

Allow me to re-do my Editorial on Jim Joyce

No doubt that first base umpire Jim Joyce made one of the worst calls in major league histroy and robbed Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga of a perfect game. The Count mentioned that Joyce admitted his terrible mistake, and for that, I will correct my F-You comment towards the umpire. At least he admits his lapse of judgment, unlike some umps who make bad calls, know they make bad calls when all the evidence suggests he did, and still defends said mistake.

Fuck you, Bud Selig!

Bug Selig gets my F-You in Joyce's stead because that call would have been overturned if the game had instant replay. Baseball critics will say, "baseball will be longer if we allow instant replay," or that "we'd be tampering with the human element of the game." What we just saw last night, that was "the human element of the game" in which a perfect game is unjustly ruined becasue the ump made a horrible call. Calls that should have favored the opposing and home teams have been part of the game for decades, but now in the 21st century, that shouldn't have to be a problem. Jim Joyce made a bad call, no questions asked. It will go down as one of the worst calls in the history of the game, and he will bear most of, if not all of, the blame. But Bud Selig, who should have installed instant replay years ago, shares just as much blame as the umpire for that godawful call.

An Editorial by Jonathan

Fuck 1B umpire Jim Joyce!

They Also Love Cats...According To Gay Expert Ranger Bob

Twenty years ago, I attended an “open house” at my daughters school. One of the subjects discussed was a lesson plan called “ free to be you and me” which taught that homosexuals were normal.

I stood up and said “ Why is it that homosexuals have a much higher rate of suicide than heterosexuals? Why is it that
alcoholism is rampant in homosexuals? Why is it that the average life span is so much lower than heterosexuals?

Could it be because homosexuals have sexual intercourse with, lick, suck and eat human $hit?

I got thrown out, but the curriculum was not adopted ;-)

Mark Noonan = Freak

A terrible tragedy occurs in Chicago:

At least 22 people were wounded in shootings around Chicago roughly between noon Saturday and noon Sunday, including a man who died Sunday morning after he was shot in the head, police said.

Nearly half of the 15 separate shootings appear to be gang-related, including the fatal incident, Chicago police Superintendent Jody Weis said Sunday. At least two of the other victims have refused to cooperate with police, "which makes the job of our detectives ... far more difficult," Weis said.

Weis characterized another shooting in the East Garfield Park neighborhood as "particularly disturbing" because it involved a woman who was eight months pregnant.

"Fortunately, she only suffered a graze wound," Weis said. "But it could have been much worse."

Police had no suspects in custody in the shootings, he said.

Now, it would take a certain kind of jerk-off to attempt to make a cold, calculating, political point after a tragedy. Mark Noonan has reached that level of out-right assholish-ness.

This is what the liberal break down of society brings – social collapse. 22 shootings in 24 hours! No one in custody…just another ho-hum day in Liberal Land.

Tired of the decay of our civilization? Good – but unless you do something about it, it’ll just get worse. No more pussy footing around – morality matters. All battles are, ultimately, religious battles – its not a matter of imposing a morality but of just what morality will be imposed. For 50 years we’ve had liberal morality imposed on us – and look where its got us?

Time to take it all back.

In case you didn't already know, Mark Noonan makes this call for morality, while living in the most moral-est, values-filled city in America Las Vegas, Nevada. The same town where you can't walk down the Strip without seeing advertisement for a strip club? The same town which hosts the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo every year, along with the AVN Awards (think the Oscars for the porn industry)?

Nevermind that its been a full day, and you're already blaming liberalism for the incident, as opposed to, say: the perpetrators who have not yet been found, or the economic policies that favor the wealthy and turn a near-blind eye to the low-income families and neighborhoods that become the hardest hit, and now have to turn to other methods to fend for themselves and their families....no its liberal morality that's bringing down society.

Just as my title says -

Mark Noonan = Freak
