Obama's speech was written and rehearsed. Nothing new there. He also had incentive for making the speech. It was a CYA due to his ambition to be president. It's his "Uncle-Pastor" Wright who should have made the speech. Obama had to make the speech because he got caught. I don't think their will be a huge spike in the number of interracial marriages this week.
Michelle Obama should also give a speech on why she has such a huge chip (mountain) on her overly-rich shoulders. Her $300.000 salary alone would be enough for 5 middle-class black families.

He made the speech out of SURVIVAL!!!!! Fox has been talking the story for a year. ABC ran a blurb on Friday and the left wing media could no longer hold the story down. HE WAS EXPOSED! the weekend continued the firestorm and they knew if this thing didn't calm down on MOnday, they would have to do something. I will give the guy credit, he is a great orator and is quite believable. But like all his/your liberal BS, when the facts start sneaking thru your guarded doors, you all are screwed! He had no choice but to address it head on. The American voters are smarter than most give them credit and B. Hussein is toast. HE may win the Dem nomination, but will get killed over this issue and the fact his platform is like thin ice!

My answer: When it was important enough to me and my family, we met with the pastor, discussed it and due to his unwillingness to acknowledge his errors, in our eyes, we left the church. B. Hussein's unwillingness to do the same shows his "true colors, " proves he is very shallow on race and moral issues and has no place even being considered as a candidate for presidency. Your first female V.P. nominee from long ago had it right, were he not a black man, he would still be sitting in Illinois with distant visions of a presidency! Looks like he will soon be back in Illinois with these visions further from reality!
