Ann Coulter Thread
The Newshounds Mod has started a thread about Fox promoting Ann Coulter's new book. Since I cannot comment on The Newshounds Mods threads here are my questions to you. Have you ever gone into somebodies house and actually seen a copy of any of her books? Do you know anybody who has ever bought a copy of her books? I know I haven't. Plus it seems like all of the bitch's books are the same. Fuck Ann Coulter! On second thought...don't. :)

Quick Thoughts
Al Franken is going to be announced As the winner of the Minnesota senate seat tomorrow. Norm Coleman will contest it. Funny how Coleman didn't mind declaring himself the winner and chastised Al Franken for calling for a recount. Now that he is about to be named the loser of the race he is the one holding things up. If you can stomach him you may want to watch Bill O'Reilly tomorrow to see if his head explodes. If you can't stomach him just got to Newshounds and they'll keep you up to date on his meltdown.
About the conflict with Israel and Hamas. Seriously how fucking old is this shit? Fuck 'em both. And no this has nothing to do with being anti-either group. I am fucking sick of both of ya.
The Minnesota Vikings did what the Minnesota Vikings do. I had a bet with myself over a North Division Championship shirt I ordered on the net. Yes I bought a shirt that basically says Hey we're better than the Packers and The Lions! Anyway the bet was the shirt wouldn't get here before the Vikings playoffs run ends. I won the bet. I bought the shirt for two reasons. A. I didn't think (correctly) that I would be buying an NFC champions shirt or a super bowl champions shirt. And B. For this team this was a nice accomplishment. I asked a friend of mine who is a Colts fan if he was mad yesterday and he said he wasn't and he thought it was because Nebraska won their bowl game. I said that was exactly how I felt today and for the same reason. In our hearts we just aren't really NFL guys.
Edit from The Count: I am watching the History Channel and it's telling me we're all going to die on December 21st 2012. See this is good to know. It will save us money buying Christmas gifts then. The shit people believe.

Chargers D and Mike Scifers kept MVP Manning in check for most of the night and had a 5'6 running back (backup I should add) run up and down all over your asses thought the night. Especially in OT.
Quit whining like those brats you see on MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen and move the fuck on back to Indy. Don't hate just cause we've bounced your asses out of the postseason twice now. But here's a parting gift for you Colts fans out there:

NFL Playoffs Thread - Part 2
San Diego's D walking tall tonight! Great stop on 4th down by the Bolts.
Side Note: Nice to see Gates getting some action, but Rivers needs to get Vincent Jackson into the game.
Edit From The Count: Congratulations Jonathan. Colts can't argue with either of those last two calls either. I thought that was pretty funny when the Colts player snapped at the camera man.

The first game is Falcons and Cardinals which I don't give a spit about but it's 26 degrees outside and raining so you know what that means...It's a skating rink out there. They are asking people not to drive which is common sense. So since there's no place to go...let's play football.
I have said this before but on days like today I would much rather have 3 inches of snow than rain. Even a steady drizzle like we are having now.
Say what you want to about Kurt Warner when the dude is protected he throws a fantastic ball.
Tony Dungy is the head coaching equivalent of Brett Favre.
The Safety was a judgment call and while if I were a Falcons fan I would be pissed I didn't think it was really a bad call. But afterwords that is the first time I have ever seen a team get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty because one guy was humping another. Pretty pathetic celebration by the Cardinals.

Guess I Am Not An Elitist Liberal
This thread on off topic explains the difference between myself and many Newshounders. I like Olive Garden and hell I even like Chillies their Hamburgers at least :( I guess I'll just have to settle for being the Ralph Kramden of Newshounds.

Kathy Griffin is a D list comedian who anchored NYE coverage on CNN with Anderson Cooper. She's the one that accepted an award and in her acceptance speech said that God had nothing to do with her winning the award and Jesus can "suck it." Nice, huh?
You don't have to believe in God to be on a news network, but do you think CNN would have ever put somebody next to Anderson Cooper who insulted Muslims or blacks? How about Mel Gibson to cohost?
Cooper is one of the better ones at CNN. He's a liberal but he reports the news straight.
I'm pretty sure he's a liberal, so is Shepard Smith but they're both excellent newsmen because you'd never know it by what they do on air.
