Obviously it's you who doesn't understand the term "Fascist". Let me help you out of your socialist, pot induced haze. The original fascist movement in Italy grew out of the Socialist movement and the term was coined by the little guy in boots, Mussolini. He loved socialism but felt it fell short in its ability to serve his desires to create a nationalistic society. So he manipulated the precepts of socialism into a militaristic, nationalist, totalitarian movement. It was not BTW a right wing movement regardless what you 'useful idiot'Socialists want to believe. Berkley has long been the socialist hotbed of what of you UD's want to call the "progressive movement" which actually first used by the orignal liberal fascists in this country like President Wilson. Berkley does have every right to silence the Marines if that is what the people in the community want. But I would argue that they must be willling to accept the responsibily for that decision. For example perhaps they shouldn't any federal protection or federal relief services.
Other communities have been willing to accept military recruiters. Why is Berkley different? The fact they are bunch of raving lunatic socialists shouldn't excuse them.
