What a load of baloney. I've been told by two, unrelated sources that Hannity's own show was in the works before Colmes announced his departure. Even if that's not true, the reason they're not replacing Colmes is because Hannity can't stand to share the spotlight, especially with a liberal.

She's right. But for her of all people to talk about others not wanting to share a spotlight is high comedy. but Newshounds Mod's ego could give Hannity's a run for it's money everyday of the week.

Calling Out Newshounds. Seems Like Old Times

Warning I am about to go off on Newshounds. This post is my feelings and Jonathan has nothing to do with it. So if you disagree blame me. Also if you don't want to read anymore of my feelings towards Newshounds you have been forewarned.

It's been a good while since I have taken a good shot at the fine folks at Newshounds and I can assure you I am not doing so tonight just to take another needless shot at the "hard working gals" Surely you know how hard they work. They just can't resist the opportunity to tell you about it every time they ask for donations. The last time the gals asked for coin Chrish (one my all time favs) even went on about how she would rather spend the time with her ass out back in a hammock. I was going to say 700 pound ass but for all I know Chrish might weigh 70 pounds and really she would be equally as well... I digress.

Anyway Friday Scott McClellan made some truths known about Fox News that all of us long knew were true but didn't quite have the proof. Something the culprits involved, Fox News and The White House, have long denied. Fox News is a state ran news organization. Nothing more that a Republican Pravda and yet the blog whose specific job it is to monitor Fox News was curiously a sleep at the wheel and didn't post a thing about this until Think Progress posted it on their blog. I mean having a blog and all that's designed to show the public the biases of Fox News I would think that a statement like...

“I make a distinction between the journalists and the commentators. Certainly there were commentators and other, pundits at FOX News, that were useful to the White House.” […] That was something we at the White House, yes, were doing, getting them talking points and making sure they knew where we were coming from."

Matthews: “So you were using these commentators as your spokespeople.”

McClellan: “Well, certainly.”

Call me crazy but it seems like if I were running a blog that monitored Fox and I worked oh so hard at it even though I didn't really want to do it...This is something that I would put up right a fucking way. But it seems Chrish and Ellen were caught sleeping in their back yards in their hammocks again. It wasn't until late Saturday night that chrish FINALLY posted something about this on newshounds and even then not because she herself caught it and was late to post it but because she read it on Think Progress.

Scott McClellan confirms on Hardball what we've been saying all along: "Fox News Commentators Use The ‘Talking Points’ That The White House Sends Them."

There you have it. This is how hard the Newshounds work. They go to other blogs see what they put up and then post it on their blog. Nothing wrong with that, hell that's what I do. But then I don't claim to be a media watch dog either. And I don't beg for money 12 times year while crying about how hard it is to run this blog. Really it's quite easy to run. As I am sure the Newshounds ladies must know since they run their blog the very same way.

Making the laziness of the Newshounds ladies even more egregious is the fact that the off topic group, the real Newshounds, apparently caught this right way. I quote ET from this very blog...

Come on now ladies could you not go to the off topic forum of your own damn blog and not catch this? I mean laziness is one thing but there has to be a limit doesn't there? I know, I know, the Off topic forum is full of losers that you would rather do with out and you only really ever go to off topic to see if anybody said anything said nasty against you even though it's an open forum because after all it's your forum right? Really the only time you ever need them is after you check Think Progress and Crooks And Liars to see if they have anything on Fox that you can post on your blog and only then so you can tell them HOW HARD YOU WORK and HOW MUCH YOU HATE DOING IT and how you WOULD RATHER BE OUT BACK IN A HAMMOCK...Blah blah blah... so they should send you their hard earned money.

So I am suggesting that Newshounds while a worthy blog, all left-wing blogs that monitor right-wing bullshit are worthy blogs and are needed, Blogs like Thing Progress and Crooks And Liars are far more worthy. They are doing the job that the Newshounds are pretending they do. or at least a far better job of it. They probably like what they do and don't feel the hard work is a strain either. Yes Newshounds is a volunteer blog but they volunteered so they can stop blaming others for it or quit. As for donations, it's not my place to tell people what to do with their hard earned cash but it seems to me that since Newshounds is just a feeder from Think Progress, Crooks And Liars And Media Matters For America those are the blogs that people should think
about donating to first.

I Had Better Write About This So I Can Put It To Bed.

This is I hope my last post on this because life is too short.

I want to thank everybody who has shown me support over the Newshounds fall out, it puts to shame both Chrish and Ellen's claim that nobody would miss me. Well, in away they are right. They think of you their readers as nobodies and several of you have shown your support and I for one am Thankful for it.

There is so much that happened that keeps going through my mind. The fact that Ellen has broke the rules of her own Forum to ban at least 3 people and 2 this week week alone. We are told that we can write anything we wish on off topic but now we know better.

I am sure Ellen is writing some damn good fiction on off topic about what happened and that's fine. I have to be totally honest when I say this, That woman has absolutely nothing of quality about her and that is the best way I could say it.

I have thought about what she said.

Why are you here, given that you are always posting about how much you hate us? It's not like we'd miss you if you left for good.

Both Ellen and Chrish like to use this kind of Language when they are talking down to their readers and it shows just what the problems are at Newshounds. you have Egos ran a muck. If you don't like Chrish or Ellen why would you post on their Blog? First of all it's not their blog. It was not started by them but somebody else who ask them to volunteer to run it. "Yes their blog" wasn't even started by them. Second of all what Got Ellen's panties in a wad I wrote ON MY BLOG! and was posted by Ranger Bob. Ellen's ego is so huge that it never even dawned on her that while I think she is a worthless piece of filth there are a lot of damn good people over there who have contributed far more to that blog than she could ever hope too and maybe I enjoy talking to them. Of course one by one by one her and her sisters in ineptitude are chasing those good folks away. As I said on one my last posts over on the mains, when you have a good football team and the coaching is lousy you know the players are damn special. And Newshounds had/has damn good players. The Best. They more than make up for the lousy managerial staff that that blog currently has. I posted on Newshounds because I liked the people who posted there. Hell if it was just Chrish and Ellen's personal playground I would have left long ago. That's not true. I never would have even bothered in the first place.

I am sure Ellen is telling a nice little half truth about me choosing to be banned and like I said it's half true which makes it 50% truer than most of what comes out of her mouth. I couldn't take it any more. I was now being scolded for things that I was writing not just on off topic but on my Own blog posted on Newshounds by somebody else. With that kind of environment I knew it was only a matter if time before I got banned anyway so YES I gave Ellen a reason to ban me.
I PM'd her and said "I never once thought you were Ralph. He's good for comedic value and I can't think of one solitary fucking thing you are good for" Would it have mattered if I didn't PM her that? It was only a matter of time before I wrote something here that she had her spies read and then post on Newshounds or she read herself and banned me anyway. I made it easier for her. And I thought it had to be done. To give you an example of how scared I got to post things before I got banned I started a thread on off topic Called MARK OF THE BEAST. It just so happen to be about an Ellen thread. I posted it because I thought it was funny that the trolls would stop posting on a thread once it got to 666 posts. It had nothing to do with Ellen, and yet I was worried that if she saw it she would take it as an insult towards her. Of course she takes everything short of bend over and let me kiss your ass as an insult anyway so maybe that's no big deal.

You may not believe what I say next but I do. Ranger Bob posted something Jonathan and I wrote here using my name on a Chrish thread. He edited from three different threads to say something I never said. Chrish responded by telling me to "leave her threads Nobody would miss me" Sound familiar? Now I know damn good and well They can tell when a post is posteed by me even when they use my name. yet, knowing it wasn't my post she still made her comment. I was banned over something I wrote here and Ranger Bob gleefully admits he posted himself on Newshounds. I honestly believe that Chrish, Ellen and Ranger Bob are in cahoots. How else would you explain it? have they ever yelled at him? nope. have they ever erased his posts? Nope. Did they continue to let him post things I wrote here using my name or a variation of my name and let people think it was me posting? Yup. You don't have far to go to see what I am talking about. Click a thread and if it says commented deleted that's from the Ranger bragging he did Ellen's dirty work for him. I am convinced that I wrote and said somethings that made Chrish and ellen unhappy and nervous and my readership though small was powerful and they made a deal with the devil to get rid of me. I concede it's possible I am wrong on this point, but if I am you still have Chrish, Ellen and The Ranger. And they are all three the same. And as far as I am concerned they can all go Cheney themselves.

Finally to those who still post on Newshounds keep and Eye on Melanie. I doubt that woman has never had an original thought in her life and she just goes along to get along. But she is the swing vote and the most important figure in the future of Newshounds. Good moderators and contributors have had enough and left Newshound already pushed out the door by the Chrish, Ellen power grab. The remaining good mods over there and there are a few, will be gone as well. but once Chrish and Ellen have kicked everybody else out they are going to turn on each other and it's going to be Melanie who decides which of the them is going to sink the ship. With the winner of the Chrish, Ellen power grab and her flunky Melanie running the blog I suspect that it won't be long until we talk about how great Newshounds used to be.

Obama's speech was written and rehearsed. Nothing new there. He also had incentive for making the speech. It was a CYA due to his ambition to be president. Yeah at this point I am sick of this as well. As you read on the thread below this Melanie, a mod was CLEARLY breaking the new rule while telling others not to do so. She did this repeatedly much to Truthy's satisfaction. After Melanie could no longer control Truthy who was being ignored by everybody but her...she shut the thread down for the night.

So lets repeat...
