why is the NYT continuing it's assault on mccain anyway? they endorse him then turn the screws on him once it is clear he will be the nominee. if that isn't a liberal conspiracy i don't know what is.

i just don't understand why the NYT sat on the lobbyist story until after mccain secured the nomination. i actually understand but it still looks conspiratorial. the left didn't want to have to face romney or guiliani so they push mccain until he wins basically giving the whitehouse the black guy. i have no problem with the black guy winning but it looks pretty nasty for the NYT the way they have turned on mccain.
