Bob On Obama

Obama's speech tonight was typical, promising to reduce the cost of living, eliminate poverty, create "millions" of new green jobs...

Maybe he can teach me to walk on water too.

Obama has a somewhat messianic charisma and some people seem to like that.

It appeals to women and the soft-hearted, the idealists, the dreamers.

I hear John Lennon in the background; I swear!

Anyone truely honest would have to admit that if Obama were not half-black, he would just be an unaccomplished junior senator who can give a good speech.

It's shocking how unqualified he is and how much his campaign is based purely on euphoria.
He is not qualified for the office.

If he was a white man, he would get barely a glance from the mainstream media. He is a socialist and at the extreme left of the political spectrum.
Obama has never won a seriously contested election. He got his state senate seat by disqualifying the other candidates. When he challenged Bobby Rush for his House seat, he was crushed. He got his Senate seat because both his chief Democrat rival and Republican opponent self-destructed with divorce scandals.

Experience? Where?
Yakki, has Obama actually run anything? Ever had to meet payroll? Dealt with a STATE budget?

Come on, leave the partisanship aside a minute. You are comparing experience between a two term governor and business owner against a city councilman?
As I said, the partisanship of you folks is amazing. Most democrats I know have a difficult time with the fact Obama has so little experience. And yet, you children here refuse to accept the fact that, like it or not, Geo Bush owned a couple of companies and served as a governor of a state. He made payroll, hired and fired people, and administered a state budget. All before becoming president.

Obama? Well, he did serve on a city council.....
So, a state senator and a state governor is the same to you, eh?

OK. I now understand with whom I am having this discussion.
Yes.

A governor is more relevant than a state senator.

gracious.
Barckkkkkk..

I actually enjoy seeing the intelligence present in the liberal minds here.

And I am never, ever disappointed.
