These Things Bob Believes

Hey Goat: Maybe this will help. This is what we conservatives believe. You may refer back to it at any time you choose, because this is part and parcel of what a conservative believes, and I and my fellow conservatives stand by each letter and word:

"We believe in individual liberty, limited government, capitalism, the rule of law, faith, a color-blind society and national security. We support school choice, enterprise zones, tax cuts, welfare reform, faith-based initiatives, political speech, homeowner rights and the war on terrorism.

And at our core we embrace and celebrate the most magnificent governing document ever ratified by any nation--the U.S. Constitution. Along with the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes our God-given natural right to be free, it is the foundation on which our government is built and has enabled us to flourish as a people."
Now, based upon the fact liberals are all the time reinventing themselves, I would love to see a synopsis of the beliefs of a liberal.

Anyone care to give it shot?

BOB says he believes in the following:

"individual liberty, limited government, capitalism, the rule of law, faith, a color-blind society and national security. We support school choice, enterprise zones, tax cuts, welfare reform, faith-based initiatives, political speech, homeowner rights and the war on terrorism."

I would love to hear from him how he reconciles his belief in "individual liberty" with his endorsement of "faith" and "faith-based initiatives."

Or does he think that nobody who espouses "individual liberty" could possibly embrace a faith other than one which he endorses or which, in his view, merits a "faith-based initiative"??

I put it to you that BOB has a skewed and limited point of view, which limits "faith-based" initiatives only to those faiths in which he personally believes.

He has to use a C & P to explain what he believes in. *snort*
