I've met people that work at Taco Bell and they are proud of their jobs, supporting their family. These people work 50-60 hrs per week to support their family. Proud people.
Employees at Taco Bell get free/reduced price food, so that is a great benefit to feed their families. Imagine, not having to go and spend hundreds at the grocery store, instead bringing bags of Taco Bell Home everynight.
Things like this are often not noticed with careers in fast-food.

In addition, they deep down want the war to go bad as well...otherwise they would have zero chance at taking the Whitehouse back this year. I work in and around the construction industry in a fairly large city in the midwest. I have met several legal and illegal hispanics that do earn the same wage as legal american citizens. In my opinion, in this area and industry, one of the reasons so many illegals are hired is because they are damn hard workers. Keep in mind, i can't speak for wages at meat packing plants, etc. But I know the wages earned here in the construction industry are very good wages.
