by allowing the private sector to work the gov't does PROMOTE the general welfare. I know you want the govt to take care of you in all aspects of life, but maybe putting forth some effort towards self reliance rather bitching all the time may do you some good.

Oh, and a first lady. She's been a sorry senator, and has repeatedly made votes she disagrees with. She has done nothing of profound value (something about securing money for 9/11 victims? I'm sure she had severe opposition to that one!)
If being a first lady is experience, maybe we should nominate laura bush too? She's done about as much as a first lady as Hillary ever did.

I came into this board with one statement, and it has led to a more open ended question about the Dem front runners. What unique experience do they have that would qualify them (by qualify, I mean prove that they are capable) to be president?
I have gotten nothing but:
Served on Committees.
Married to former president.
Senator
Talked to people
Threw up.
I was looking for some accomplishments. Serving on a committee (especially in our congress) means absolutely nothing. Being married to someone doesn't relate to anything really. Being a senator is good, but she's done practically nothing. Talked to foreigners.
How is she the frontrunner? John Kerry was a better choice. Hell, John Edwards is a better choice.
