if I didn't tell you this was from Cedarford could you have guessed?

He participated in his own kidnapping?

He was 11 when he was kidnapped. Now if you're accusing 11 year olds of participating in their own kidnapping, then say so. Canadian Paul

I'm sorry, you appear unfamiliar with the case. We are talking about Hornbeck being the one that grabbed the child, Ben, forced him into the truck, and restrained him (and possibly other things) while Devlin did his pizza job.

Cedarford is a raving lunatic.

The victim when taken at gun point and sodomized was ELEVEN YEARS OLD. Not a teenager. In CAPTIVITY he grew to be a teenager.

There is no law, and no court in the country that will accuse this CHILD of anything criminal. Like the rest of the normal majority they will see him as a VICTIM.

No, it appears that you are the hysterical one, so overly emotionally invested in your own beliefs that you are purposely blind to logic or possible scenarios that may play out as more evidence is revealed.

But not for you, but others, basic facts:

1. Hornbeck appears not to have been in physical captivity as early as 1 minth after he disappeared. He was on his own when Devlin had surgery and recuperation, and was noted coming and going freely back in 2003 from Devlin's apartment.

2. Teen gang members are recruited, intimidated, and beaten into gangs as young as 11. Later, when as 15-year olds they are arrested for gang rape, major drug possession, knifings, shootings, and murder they do not get a "But I was A Victim" defense.

3. Tens of thousands of 12-16 year olds who have committed major crimes are in jail, juvvie facilities, or in the justice system now. Most have sad tales of broken homes, poor parenting, abuse by some gang leader Svengali. It doesn't cut it as an exonoration excuse, only in factoring age in mitigating the punishment for a crime.

4. Whether or not Hornbeck will be seen as a victim or someone who willingly did bad deeds himself (kidnapping, sexual assault) and should be accountable as much as his age and circumstances merit --will depend on what facts emerge. (Something that the average Newshound emotionally blind poster refuses to understand. This is a legal process where people's initial beliefs give way to evidence discovery, factfinding, and analysis)

Canadian Paul - I cannot do that with this Cedarford. There are few instances where I believe someone should be banned or their post removed.

In your case, you're safe. Newshounds doesn't ban exceptionally stupid people.

Cedarford is the poster boy for abortion
