So, I guess the consensus here is the word "negro" is a degragory term.

I ask the same question for a reason; my coworker sitting right here is black. She does not consider the term "negro" demeaning or derogatory. She found "Barack the Magic Negro" humorous, and suggests you folks here get a sense of humor.
And I agree with her. Lighten up, or you folks are going to stroke out before you reach the age of 40!
Now, we have to finish the final live shots for tonight and head back to the hotel, but it has been fun; and really....lighten up, folks! Its only politics!
