If Imus was black he would still have a job. Free speech by color is a shame.

Free speech by color sounds good, but it is all about "speech codes" imposed in private sector venues exempt from the Constitution.

It is ironic in a sense that the last white victims of racial "mau-mauing" of the last black racist lynch mob were found innocent just as the professional race baiters found a new victim, Imus.

Just as the lacrosse players and their "white boy privilege" was rescued from criminalization from the mob of racist blacks and Lefties...a new "cause" emerged for the usual suspects - including Sharpton - to vent their "anger, outrage".

Color me cynical.

Rumors are the Rutgers squad has a reputation for acting like thugs and two members of their squad were lost over the summer for criminal acts.
That Rutgers players are heavy rap fans and notorious trash talkers - which apparantly includes calling opponents "bitches and 'ho's" on the court.

This is the same sort of frenzy to "get" Imus as was displayed in the early days of "getting" the lacrosse players - at all costs! It suits the the meta-agenda of Lefty and black activists. It is the same tactic of what blacks call "mau-mauing whitey" to get shakedowns a la Jesse Jackson, or Sharpton's clumsier efforts to get whitey, Jews, Koreans - which of course went somewhat awry in race riot deaths and of course, Tawana....

Another difficulty is that college ball "cue's" off the NBA, which is heavily influenced by rap and hip-hop style. Misogynist rap is played AT NBA games. Players now head into recording studios to do their own "bitches, 'ho's, evil white America, bling" songs.

To utterly no comment except for occasional black critics like Cosby saying stuff about them overglorifying ghetto culture and using objectionable demeaning language about black women.

Utterly no calls for firing Iverson or his ilk, or apologies.
"They are athletes and entertainers, not social spokesmen of all blacks" is the excuse.

No. And note that race baiters never apologize when they are smoked out as hypocrits or liars.
