And liberals are considered insane....how?

Mark Noonan rightful blames teenage prostitution....on liberalism.
I kid you not.

Yet another modern horror brought to us courtesy of liberalism and, in the end, every man jack of us due to failure to stand up and be counted. Detailed over at Battle Born Politics.

The blogger, kritter, said it best:

2. kritter | March 30th, 2008 at 11:10 pm

Gee, and here I was under the impression that prostitution is the world’s oldest profession. Now I know that the left is to blame for it, along with AIDS, 9/11, our humiliating loss in Vietnam, world poverty and acne. Thanks a lot, Michael Moore! Without your input we would be respectful of our parents, eat all of our broccoli and go to church every Sunday, instead of picking up teen prostitutes.

You know, it's a hell of a lot easier to call these people stupid.

Say What Leslie?

Did anybody else just see Leslie Stahl make an ass of herself on 60 minutes? Talking about global warming

Stahl: There are still a lot of non believers
Gore: Not really
Stahl: But the list of non believers is impressive
Gore: Like who?
Stahl: The Vice President
Gore: laughs
Gore: yeah well...you are talking about Dick Cheney right?

Come on Leslie...did you really go there?

“You’ve earned nothing until you are able to climb down off that pedestal that’s made of human bones and admit that you wouldn’t be where you are if the real hard work hadn’t been borne on the backs of slaves. I freely admit that.”

There’s that “this country was built on the backs of slaves” nonsense again. Oh, please, slavery was in the south. Slavery was an expensive form of labor. Few plantation owners utilized that form. The real work was done by your Average Joe. The south was virtually destroyed by the Civil War. Union troops wanted to punish the traitors and very little survived and any personal wealth was taken.

You want to convince us that the south was rebuilt with slave labor?

“…people that have enjoyed unearned privilege for 400 years…”

What a racist thing to say. Painting an entire race with such a broad brush. I’ll have you know that I was not given anything by society, I have earned everything I have. Just because I am white does not provide me with what I need to live on nor did it get me through school. Nowadays, if you are a member of a minority YOU DO GET PRIVILEGE! It’s wrongly called affirmative action or reverse discrimination and by the government no less.

All these special programs in place, that gives them more opportunity, free money, free food, free just about anything and they still complain!!!

Why do you have so much have for your fellow man, unless they are of a certain race?

BINGO!
Im from the north, I have lived through the “civil rights” era.
Where im from there NEVER was separate ,drinking fountains, rear of the bus riding or any of the grievances the blacks had under the souths DEMOCRAT controlled states.

Im SOOOOOO over this hate whitey and “slavery” CRAP.

Im Irish, my ancestors were forced to migrate because of the British.
we dug the Erie barge canal, built the railroads, dug the mines, for PENNIES……..SO WHAT!

I believe i am blessed to be in this great nation by a quirk of civilizations.
I cant believe blacks dont honestly sit down and privately thank GOD their ancestors SOLD them to the white man, so some day they could partake of the American dream by just being born here.
Just look at some of the sally struthers videos of the african children with flies on their eyes and distended stomachs. This very well could be them if not for slavery…….GET OVER IT!!
Your relatives SOLD YOU, and some of our relatives bought you! WE OWE YOU NOTHING.
YOU OWE US ALL YOU HAVE!!

>>>bulk of the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies are white men and the majorities of their boards are white men. <<<<

So it is a conspiracy?
MAYBE white men are smarter, harder working, more ambitious, better educated.
OH NO
it has to be racism.

NAME ONE country in the entire world that is successful and not a 3rd world hell hole that has a black majority and a black government.
The white nations of America and Europe have been the dominant and most successful for centuries. The oriental are a very close second.

This is not ment to be racist, but a serious question one which has puzzled me for quite some time.

Talk About Beating a Dead Horse

These guys just won't let this one go, won't they?

Never in American history has a man so manifestly unworthy of the honor come this close to the White House.

...Says the guy who still staunchly supports the worst president in U.S. history.

Our task as patriots over the next 7 months is to do everything we can to ensure that someone other than Obama is sworn in on January 20th, 2009.

Wow.
Way to show your patriotism, Mark, by trying to vilify and degrade a respectable and admirable figure like Obama. I'm sure the Founding Fathers are singing your praises in their graves.

More Obama Bashing from the Reverend Jeremiah

Hola, you bastard children of Bill Clinton, to another powerful and gripping sermon for the Reverend Jeremiah. Tonight, he continues with his mission to warn America about the dangers of an Obama presidency, as opposed to the wonderful and productive year of the Bush presidency.

GREENSBORO, N.C.

Senator Barack Obama has told an audience that although he believes Christ died for his sins, those who reject that teaching can also be children of God.

This is another of the many reasons that Obama cannot be trusted to be our next President. It's clearly obvious that Obama has not a personal relationship with Our Creator through remarks such as the out-and-out lie he told the audience in N.C.

Jesus said - 'No one cometh unto the Father except through Me and in the book of Acts chapter 4 10-12 - 'Let it be made known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the 'stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

'No other name.' So that tells you plainly, Obama is not a true Christian by any stretch of the imagination.

Without a personal commitment to God one cannot be a Leader. Leadership comes through the guidance of God Almighty in one's life, such as was the case for our Founding Fathers, who depended solely on Almighty God for their sustenance and Supreme Leadership - God spoke through them, and that's what made such eloquent words of True Hope come from such outstanding Leaders of their day and age. It was their belief in Jesus Christ, God's One and Only Son who made their existence possible to freely exercise thier God-given right to worship and govern in this blessed land we call 'America.'

I wonder more and more about some people in America every day...In understanding at how anyone could even remotely with honesty say that they think "Obama would make a good President." On the other hand, however, I can understand why...with the Liberal dominated educational system...it's no wonder so many are so misinformed on right from wrong in that respect. Just a hand full of Liberal indoctrinators' and you can ruin an entire Nation of people; which is exactly what has happened to America since the mid 1960s...but did it really all start in the 60s? No, actually, it was at least about 4 decades earlier, in the 1920s when the Evil forces of the ACLU (comprised primarily of militant Atheist activists) which became established on American soil, hence, 4 short decades proved to be disaster with their harmful intellectual debilitating influence spreading throughout America to every state, thus, we are now faced with large enough problem that Americans of every background who consider themselves Christians will have to take a stand against them if we are to make a difference for the bettering of America--or acqueicse into a Socialist state of darkness where it will no longer be possible for Christians to have their freedom that was so honorably fought and died for and handed on to us by our Forefathers for us to do the very same thing, because that's the only way that freedom is possible - is to stand up for it, like you mean it, and not put off another day and another and another...and before you know it the country has been destroyed ... That's the reason they knew they had to stand up and fight for Christian freedom, because Christ gave His all for all men to be free. So too, we must do the same, or lose and defame all that they fought to give us.

I've heard it said so many times by the Liberals that society has "changed" from what it was during the 17th, 18th centuries? Well, yes it has, but it hasn't been "good" change ... we are a morally bankrupt Nation compared to what we were in the early twentieth century, and are on a steady downward slide toward the infamous days of Sodom and Gomorrah ... Yet we've only seen the tip of the iceberg as to what's to come.

We, as True Believers, however, have hope ... So keep the faith, and stand up, for we know not what tomorrow may bring!

Feel free to share your commentary...

God bless!

--Jeremiah--

Wow I Can Post On The Mains

I can post on the mains. Still banned on off topic. :) What do you know.

Wingnut Bob airs his fears....

Of the bad, evil, uppity negro in the manor house:

I enjoyed watching Obama explain his differing views on Don Imus and Rev. Wright, pertaining to "hate speech".

Watching him "explain" how what Imus said was so much more "hateful" than what Wright said was classic squirming....
Bob | 03.29.08 - 3:15 am | #

OK. Imus insulted a bunch of college girls by calling them a derogatory name. Obama said at the time he would fire Imus immediately for those comments.

Wright makes racist remarks against whites and women and makes anti-American charges that the govt invented AIDS to destroy the black race and Obama says Imus' comments were worse?

And finally, I wonder how Wright can claim that this country is utterly bad and evil, while he puts the finishing touches on his 1.5M mansion. I wonder what market exists for that mansion in Kenya or some other country for a black man?
Bob | 03.29.08 - 3:41 am | #

I think it is wonderful the man is going to be living in that house. I think it is wonderful that people strive toward the ability to make the decision to buy or not buy a house with that amount of space.

I never have yammered on and on about the "'evil rich people'" and their "McMansions". I have never been envious of successful people. But America-hating liberals have; and so has Wright.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:00 am | #

If I were in my Church on Sunday morning and my preacher said "Goddamn America", my response would not be "fair and balanced". I would have stood up and walked out, never to return. So, I guess I would not have heard his "entire sermon" in that case either, right?
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:04 am | #

Go ahead and believe that AIDS was a lab experiment gone bad if you so desire; just remember it will be sorta odd for someone that actually believes that to call someone else a "wingnut"......
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:06 am | #

No where can you find the words "go back to Africa" except in your post.

What are you, so sort of bigot?
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:12 am | #

Yea. And just WHY CAN'T they cure the damn common cold?
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:13 am | #

I am sorry. I didn't mean any of that. You just took me out of context. Just remember what Obama said about his grandmother, and I guess I am one as well.

I am just a "typical white person".
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:18 am | #

Wright espouses hate against the "evil rich white man". Problem is, apparently he is a "rich black man", at least as far as real estate is concerned.

So, yea, I suppose he is railing against himself....
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:20 am | #

No. It is not worth it. So many people, black and white, cannot and will not defend the utter hatred expressed by the Rev. Wright.

But you liberal syncophants are doing just that. And it is so utterly ridiculous you demean any positive message you may have concerning the liberal viewpoint.

In other words, you are a bunch of insignificant lemmings.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:23 am | #

The Audacity of Rhetoric
By Thomas Sowell
Wednesday, March 26, 2008

(PS: Mr. Sowell is a .......shhhh.. a black man.....shhhhh)

"It is painful to watch defenders of Barack Obama tying themselves into knots trying to evade the obvious

Among the many desperate gambits by defenders of Senator Obama and Jeremiah Wright is to say that Wright's words have a "resonance" in the black community.

While many whites may be annoyed by Jeremiah Wright's words, a year from now most of them will probably have forgotten about him. But many blacks who absorb his toxic message can still be paying for it, big-time, for decades to come.

Why should young blacks be expected to work to meet educational standards, or even behavioral standards, if they believe the message that all their problems are caused by whites, that the deck is stacked against them? That is ultimately a message of hopelessness, however much audacity it may have."
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:27 am | #

Considering Obama had a more liberal voting record last year than even Ted Kennedy, I find it very hard to believe a person could vote for the most liberal member of Congress and still call themselves a "Republican".

Sorry. I don't buy it.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:30 am | #

Please point out anything I have said that could come even close to "hatred".

You liberals have demeaned the word "racist" to the point it has no meaning at all; you are doing the same thing with the word "hate" and "hateful". To a liberal, anyone who does not believe what you beleive is "hateful". You have destroyed another word's meaning.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:32 am | #

YOu mindless robot, I DIDN'T say anything....the black author of that story did!
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:33 am | #

Exactly! I've been saying the same thing for years.

David Duke
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:36 am | #

You don't have to be so thick headed.

If you think about it, there is very little difference between David Duke and the Rev Wright.

I, for one, disagree with both of them.

How about you?
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:39 am | #

Simply amazing.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:41 am | #

I could send you hundreds of links as well. And I suppose you would be afraid of letting a little truth in, too.

So, where does that get either of us?
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:43 am | #

Where did I use the word "fear", or even imply it?

You really are good at projecting, I have to say.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:43 am | #

Has Obama explained, in recent weeks, just exactly how fast he will "pull out the troops"?

And as far as that "100 year war" bit, we are, what, about 25 years away from being in Japan and Germany for 100 years?

Think about it.
Bob | 03.29.08 - 4:54 am | #

Smell the fear,lol.

Bernard Kerik? I Thought He Was Homeless After Imus Got Canned.

What you fail to mention is that Bernard Kerik did a damned fine job for the city of New York and would have made a helluva lot better Homeland Security Chief than Michael Chertoff. And the only reason he didn't become Homeland Security Chief is because of liberals like you putting partisan politics over national security.

Calls For Hillary Clinton To Drop Out.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/28/clinton.dropout.calls/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A pair of high-profile backers of Sen. Barack Obama have called on his rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton, to drop out of the race for the Democratic nomination for president.

art.hclinton.ap.jpg

Some of Sen. Barack Obama's best-known backers are urging Sen. Hillary Clinton to drop out of the race.

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, issued the most unvarnished statement Friday, saying Clinton "has every right, but not a very good reason, to remain a candidate for as long as she wants to."

Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut, who sought the Democratic nomination for president himself but threw his support behind Obama after dropping out of the race in January, expressed a similar sentiment Thursday.

"I mean, if a person wants to stay in the race, stay in the race," he told the National Journal, a Washington magazine.

"But if you have enough people rallying behind what appears to be the likely choice, and I believe the choice is Barack Obama ... then I think you have to step up to the plate and say, 'Enough is enough.' We want this to be over with."

I say let's see on Pennsylvania. If she wins why should she drop out?

10. Michael | March 27th, 2008 at 3:56 pm

Is there glory in war? Sure there is. If not, there is no heroism or bravery which are the thing that lead to glory. The referenced article includes a quote from John McCain the denounces war and he says he detests war. He should know, he saw every aspect of it and came out of the Viet Nam war a hero. I too was in the service and served in Viet Nam during the war. I was a volunteer - not a draftee - as was the tradition in my family (my father served 40 years in the Navy). I knew I could end up in armed conflict and may get injured or killed but I felt I owed that bit of service to my country. Ten years later I got out of the service unscathed by enemy fire. My service was honorable but not heroic nor glorious. But people like McCain and many others who risked it all, suffered much and some gave their lives, all have a claim to glory - the glory of fighting and defending America. This is a concept that even Democrats used to understand. JFKennedy - WWII hero. LBJohnson - Naval Officer. Jimmy Carter - Naval Officer and nuclear sub commander and many Democrat members of congress served with pride and a sense of duty.
But the latest fashion from the left is to blame America for the world’s woes and refuse to support her when the county is at war. Their latest doublespeak is, “I oppose the war, but I support the troops.” But all you have to do is look to places like Berkeley to see that’s a lie. As a former “troop” engaged in a war, those words would not have cheered me up or made me feel anything but disgust for the utterer. Once America goes to war, and this war was approved by congress overwhelmingly, it is the duty of patriotic Americans to support it as well as the troops. They are glorious. What they do is glorious. And if Iraq ends up free and safe, the Iraqi people will say the same thing about America. Our soldiers are already seeing that in many parts of Iraq, especially from the young and those who Saddam persecuted. Denying glory in war goes against history. And like it or not, war is a reality in this world and will be for a long, long time.

16. TiredofLibBullSh** | March 27th, 2008 at 4:55 pm

“Well, that would be great if any of those things had actually been permanently ended, although, admittedly Japanese imperialism isn’t likely to make a comeback.”

Are you serious?

So, you are saying that if war cannot permanently end any one of those situations, it is not worth fighting?

Thank you, useful idiot, for chiming in with your usual BS!

A biker is riding by the zoo when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage.

Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his bike, runs to the cage, and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A reporter has seen the whole scene and addressing the biker says, "Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I have seen a man do in my whole life."

The biker replies, "why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt right."

The reporter says, "well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's papers will have this on the first page. What motorcycle do you ride?"

The biker tells him, "a Harley Davidson."

The journalist leaves. The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on first page:

(Video) BARACK OBAMA Pastor ANTI-AMERICAN Rev Jeremiah Wright Racism

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwQWuQVE6sw&feature=related

I found some very interesting information about Barack Hussein Obama at the website “Black Republican”…

“Obama’s Blind Spot on Race and Character” - Black Republican

By Frances Rice -a lawyer and retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, is the chairman of the National Black Republican Association

…Without flinching, Rev. Wright damned his own country, declaring that innocent Americans deserved to be killed by Islamic terrorists on September 11, 2001. Since Obama refuses to end his ties to Rev. Wright and has put forth a false face as a presidential candidate, we need to look behind the mask and examine his past to see the real Barack Obama.

Obama’s Slave-owning Relatives

Notably, in his speech, Obama mentioned the slavery history of the family of his wife, Michelle. He failed to say one word about the unsavory slave-owning past of his own white relatives. Historical records uncovered by researchers and posted on the Internet at: http://www.freedomsenemies.com/_more/obama.htm show that Obama’s maternal forbearers were slaveholders. In fact, one of Obama’s ancestors, George Washington Overall, owned two slaves as is recorded in the Nelson County, Kentucky 1850 Census. The same records show that another one of Obama’s ancestors, Mary Duvall, also owned two slaves. All of Obama’s slave-owning forbearers were Democrats.

Obama, following in the footsteps of his white ancestors, is also part of the Democratic Party that: (1) fought to keep blacks in slavery; (2) started the Ku Klux Klan to lynch and terrorize Republicans—black and white; (3) passed the discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws; (4) fought every piece of civil rights legislation from the 1860’s to the 1960’s; and (5) attacked Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other civil rights protesters with skin-burning fire hoses and vicious dogs.

http://blackrepublican.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

Read the whole thing. There’s more information on Obama worth posting - ie. “Obama’s Legislative Actions”, and his “Muslim Connections”.

“You guy are such f’in race baiting fools. And what is pathetic is you don’t even see it.”

Uh, so I guess the rants of:

“If you don’t vote Democrat another black is going to burn.”
The political ads about the dragging death of that black Texas man to push “hate crime” legislation.
The antics of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson et al, pimping for the Democrat Party.

…and other such racial nonsense - even in this campaign!

Don’t mean anything to you. Talk about “words don’t matter” - you and your ilk are hopeless.

You can’t even admit there is one thing about Obama that is better than your hero.

He’s a Marxist, a lyar, and he hates America. I’ll admit those.

Does that help?

35. js | March 26th, 2008 at 11:03 pm

God isnt a socialist. He gave us a choice. What we do with that option is up to us. Its not about religion, its about knowing the difference between right and wrong, and applying that knowledge in our lives.

If Barak Obama is “the best” man we can muster for the President of the United States, we are in trouble people. This man is lying to us, he is a professed devotee of socialism and a racist. 20 years of history is how you weigh the man, not on how creative a liar that man is.

Charisma is not a representation of integrity, we learned that with Hitler. The speeches may sound good, but the truth is a bloody mess.

Whoever said 'Ignorance is bliss' might have rethought those words after reading such crap from these rabid right-wingers.

Alfalfa Continues Clueless

I don't find this poll surprising at all. Regardless of how many primaries he's won Barack Obama is not a mainstream Democrat. Mainstream Democrats have views that aren't so far to the left that they refuse to even consider that a Republican might have some good ideas too. Barack Obama appeals to a younger, more radical Democrat, the kind of Democrat who thinks the reason he's got no money is because some Republican cheated him out of it and who wouldn't hesitate in marching those "rich" Republicans off to Gulags in the desert if he thought he could get away with it. And that's why if Obama gets nominated you're going to see a number of older Democrats voting for John McCain. They know all these younger Obama Democrats are a bunch of naive little children with weird Marxist worldviews that, if they were ever implemented, would destroy this country in ways that could never be repaired.

So Ellen banned me from a board she isn't even moderating?

Pardon me but fuck that bitch.

Anyway I have been advocating this for 2 years. So good luck guest mods. Maybe that place can be saved yet.

So, took a little while to peruse the threads this evening. Seems the suggestion for "guest" mods has taken hold.

Apparently its done wonders for site traffic.

When John McCain had his Iran/Al Qaeda training mistake O'Reilly did not do a TPM on it, did not make it the lead story, did not discuss it for an entire segment after the TPM, and did not spend half the rest of the show talking about it.

That is just what it was. A mistake. Not an out and out lie like Mr's Clinton. Also did anyone notice that while Davis was reading from some newspaper report about Mrs. Clinton being flown in on helicopter there was video of her and Chelsea living what appeared to be a very large aircraft. No one "mispeaks" about getting shot at. She is a liar.

his hands clenched his chair so hard, he was sure they'd bleed. Her fingers fumbled thru the folds of her sex and she moaned loudly, causing his d&%k to actually jump in his pants.

Her honey brown hair fell down her shoulders as she moaned in pleasure. His mind raced. Sweat trickled down his face. He couldn't take much more.

She stopped, eyeing him coyly. "Don't you want me?" she asked smiling. She knew the answer.

He felt his mind shut down. He nodded dumbly, his c@$k throbbing maddeningly in his pants. She walked towards him, taking his scarred face into her hands. He felt himself throb impatiently as the smell of her arousal hit him like a wave. He'd wanted this for so long. His hands found the buttons of her shirt.

"Take me, Proffesor." And he ripped open her shirt.

Lord Voldemort: Iran seeks weapons-grade uranium enrichment

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Vice President Dick Cheney on Monday said Iran was developing a uranium enrichment program for military purposes.

"Obviously, they're ... heavily involved in trying to develop nuclear weapons enrichment, the enrichment of uranium to weapons grade levels," Cheney said in an interview with ABC television transcribed by the White House.

Cheney, however, did not mention on what he based his accusation.

Didn't he repeat the lie that Saddam was seeking uranium in Niger back in 2002?
Why is he trying to beat the drum for another unnecessary war in the Middle East?
Hasn't this bastard and his buddies at Hallliburton made enough profit off of the suffering of millions in Iraq?
Guess not.
Gee, more endless war for KBR and Exxon Mobile. Thanks a lot, Dick.

NoteTo Roger Goodell Do Not Move Opener

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080326/sp_nm/nfl_dc

The National Football League and NBC will likely move up the time of the league's September season opener so it won't conflict with presidential nominee John McCain's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.

Since 2002, the NFL has held its season opener on the first Thursday night after Labor Day. This year, the game runs smack into the final night of the convention, when McCain will officially accept the nomination and give a nationally televised speech from Minneapolis.

While the NFL has yet to announce its schedule for the 2008 season, it's apparently not going to shy away from having its season opener on the scheduled day, with the game likely featuring the Super Bowl champion New York Giants.

So, the NFL and NBC have agreed in principle to have the kickoff at 7 p.m. ET instead of the traditional 8:30 p.m. That would mean, except in the event of an overtime, that the game would end before NBC's expected one hour of convention coverage for the night.

The move comes with several risks, including a loss of audience since the game would start so early on the West Coast. Also, it could impact any pregame special or entertainment that the NFL or NBC could schedule. It would, though, give NBC News a strong lead-in to its convention coverage.

There have been no firm decisions yet on how long NBC or the other broadcast networks will cover the conventions, which are often little more than ceremonies and speeches with no unexpected news. The past several election cycles, the broadcast networks have stuck to about an hour of primetime -- at 10 p.m. -- for each convention night.

In August 2000, ABC asked the NFL to start an exhibition game at 7 p.m. instead of 8 p.m. so that ABC could carry an hour of coverage from the Democratic National Convention beginning at 10 p.m. The league agreed.

The Republican National Convention has been on the NFL radar since it was announced for early September. "We've been talking with NBC Sports about this," an NFL spokesman said.

The NFL schedule is announced in two parts, the first in late March or early April coinciding with the annual owners meeting and the second later on. The NFL owners' meeting begins Monday.

GOP report questions whether Rocket lied

By HOWARD FENDRICH and RONALD BLUM, AP Sports Writers 39 minutes ago

The top Republican on the congressional committee that investigated whether Roger Clemens used performance-enhancing drugs released a report Tuesday questioning the Democratic majority's conclusion that the seven-time Cy Young Award winner might have lied in his testimony before the panel last month.

The 109-page report, obtained by The Associated Press, contains details Rep. Tom Davis believes could challenge the credibility of Brian McNamee, the personal trainer who testified under oath he injected Clemens with steroids and human growth hormone from 1998-01.

Republican staff from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will pass along additional information to the Justice Department. The FBI is investigating whether Clemens lied to Congress.

"Did Roger Clemens lie to us?" Davis said in a release accompanying the report.

"Some of the evidence seems to say he did; other information suggests he told the truth," the Virginia Republican said. "It's a far more complicated picture than some may want to believe. Memories fade and recollections differ. That's human nature, not criminal conduct. My concern is the integrity of sworn statements made to Congress. At this point, the Justice Department is best equipped to investigate that central question and reach a fair conclusion."

Here's The Count's View On This.

A. Our government has more important things to worry about than this.
B. Fuck baseball
C. Clemens is a big time Republican. So of course they want to protect his ass
D. Fuck baseball

Rodrigo makes a Sockpuppet

I have never been an Obama supporter. But why is that relevant ? He's the one who is running on a campaign of unity and one can logically assume that his supporters are just as interested in unity as he is. Why else would they be supporting him if they didn't believe what he believed ? Or are his calls for unity nothing but empty rhetoric and his supporters as empty as he is? What's unifying about about the kind of rhetoric that his pastor preaches ? And why do you think that what his pastor preaches has no bearing on his own world view ? It's not like he has only attended this church once or twice. He's been a regular attendee for over 20 years. So obviously there was something about his pastor that spoke to his heart. Why else would he bother to attend for so many years ?
Rodrigo | 03.24.08 - 10:15 pm | #

What about them ? Has John McCain been a regular attendee at either one of these churches for the past 20 years ? Why do you people insist on dodging this issue with obfuscations ?

A PAID POLITICAL ANNOUNCEMENT BY SENat. BARACK OBAMA (D- ILL)
My fellow Identity-Americans.

As your future President I want to thank my supporters, for their... well, support.
Your mindless support of me, despite my complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor's relations with Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi, or my blatantly leftist voting record while I present myself as some sort of bipartisan agent of change.

I also like how my supporters claim my youthful drug use and criminal behavior somehow qualifies me for the Presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush's youthful drinking disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea of political posing.

I would also like to thank the Kennedy's for coming out in support of me. There's a lot of glamour behind the Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War, his brother Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr. and Teddy killed a teenage girl. And I'm not going anywhere near the cousins, both literally and figuratively.

And I'd like to thank Oprah Winfrey for her support. Her love of meaningless
empty platitudes will be the force that propels me to the White House.

I promise to abandon our friends in the Middle East and establish new friends with Iran and Syria; people with which I can relate.

My pledge to stop all gun violence will be implemented immediately by confiscation of all your guns.

I plan to pay for all promises by redistribution of the wealth of evil corporations such as Exxon, if Chavez does not beat me to it. I learned this from my churches mission statement. I also will include a small increase in taxes on those wealthy white folk by increasing the rate on dividends and interest to 28% and eliminating that evil George Bush tax rate and get it back up to 38-45% where it should be so my supporters won’t have to worry about working or saving.

I will also promise to never let any judge get appointed that does support giving homosexuals, black folks, and welfare recipients preferred treatment.

Americans should vote for me, not because of my lack of experience or achievement, but because I make people feel good. Voting for me causes some
white folk to feel relieved of their imagined, racist guilt. I would invite all you bleeding liberal white folks to my church but we are committed to only black folks and to Africa. My Pastor also has this in my church mission statement.

I say things that sound meaningful, but don't really mean anything because
Americans are tired of things having meaning. If things have meaning, then
that means you have to think about them.

Americans are tired of thinking.
It's time to shut down the brain, and open up the heart.
So when you go to vote in the primaries, remember don't think, just do.
And do it for me.

Thank You.
Barrack Hussein Obama

"One day people will look back at this moment in history and say, 'Thank God there were courageous people willing to serve, because they laid the foundations for peace for generations to come,'" Bush said after a State Department briefing about long-term diplomacy efforts.

"I have vowed in the past, and I will vow so long as I'm president, to make sure that those lives were not lost in vain - that, in fact, there is an outcome that will merit the sacrifice," Bush said.

More Political Correct Nonsense. Obviously, websites and others in the United States are afraid of Muslim fanatics and are especially careful not to offend them. If we are really at war with Muslim extremists, then we can not accommodate their beliefs or culture. We must offend them if we are really at war with them. It is part of the game.

Whatever! The word is going to get out one way or another. Way to encourage violent religions (insert lame hosting service here).

I predict that next month it will still be Islam. That is, until the Buddhists finally realize that war does solve something - right before the olympics - and then start fighting back against the Chinese instead of putting lame bumper stickers on their Toyota Priuses. Then it'll be the Buddhists fundamentalist chopping people's heads off and using mentally retarded people as homicidal bombers. Oh who am I kidding, it'll still be Islam.

You're no fun, Denver Post. Although chopping posts in an article about censorship is pretty funny.

You know what would be funny? From now on quote the original article by DPO and sensor it however you like before DPO sensors/moderates you. Feel free to take articles about anything and relate it to your favorite pet peeve like I do. In my case its illegal immigration. ;)

littletonguy wrote:Lest we forget, all of the planet's major religions have their extremists who are willing to do violence to defend their faith. Right now, Islamic extremists are the poster child for violence on behalf of religion. Who knows who it will be next month?
Really? So it is defending their faith to kill each other over a stupid cartoon or a schoolteacher that allowed a picture of Mohammed to exist? That's not defending their faith, it is fanatacism. Why does there always have to be those that feel the need to defend violence when it is Islam, but when it is Israel defending themselves, then they condemn? Is it because Israel is a Judeo-Christian nation?
Who are the radicals in Buddhism or Hinduism? What about atheism? Humanism? Come on-you really think the Islamic people(not just the radicals) need to be upset when there is a cartoon of their leader? You think they are justified to stifle free speech? How would you feel if Catholics were able to suppress any cartoon or website that depicted the Pope or Jesus, or was anti-Bible?
Whenever there is a forum mentioning Islamic terrorism or a Muslim father killing his daughter because she was too worldly, some of you quickly compare it to other religion's "violence". Why the knee-jerk reaction? Can you even admit the VAST majority of terrorists in this world are Islamic? I have had trouble on other threads even getting posters to admit that. It seems that the rejoicing abroad in the Muslim world on 9/11 by supposed mainstream muslims was quite telling. Yeah, I know others shared at least vocal support, but don't try to gloss over what was caught on video. I'm know there are Muslims who are not crazy, But I'm talking about large numbers that are.
Bring on the hate mail, sorry to practice free speech in front of you  And the thumbs down, of course, for the cowards who don't want to comment.

Damial Get's Behind Phil In Line To Give Hannity Blow Job.

Just got done reading the post from Sean's PD. You guys just got punked. Absolutely, utterly punked. Insisting that any blogs from Hal Turner MUST be true just continues to drag your credibility (what's left of it) deeper and deeper into the sewer. Have none of you ever considerd at any time that this Turner guy might be a complete nut and a liar to boot?

Using this as "proof" that Sean Hannity is a racist has blown up in your faces. It's over.

Hannity Sends His Ass Boy To Fight Battle For Him.

Now This Is Newshounds At It's Best. I still love it when they tree douche-bags like this.

On your site you write:

"Earlier in the week, Sean Hannity denied, albeit in contradictory terms, ever having a relationship with neo Nazi/white supremacist Hal Turner. As I posted the night Hannity was confronted about Turner, the evidence conflicts with Hanniy’s claims. Now Turner has confirmed their friendship and their sympatico views in a blog post called, “About Sean Hannity and Me. . . . . Yes, we were friends and yes, Sean agreed with some of my views.”

Your source is the person you call a "neo-Nazi/white supremacist Hal Turner. Is this your journalistic standard to repeat the blog postings of people like this? Is your desire to smear Sean Hannity so great that you will take the word of such a person?

In the posting Newshounds quotes from their new friend and journalistic source Hal Turner when he writes the following:
"In 1993, My wife got pregnant and around a month later, Sean reported that he and his wife were expecting their first child. We got to talking about things expectant dads talk about and the relationship grew."

THERE IS A HUGE PROBLEM .... in 1993 Sean Hannity was NOT in NY, he was broadcasting in Atlanta until late 1996 when he was hired by Fox news.

There is ANOTHER HUGE PROBLEM ...Sean's wife was not pregnant, and did NOT get pregnant till 5 years later in 1998, his first child was born in Nov. 1998, So it would have been impossible for Hal Turner and Sean Hannity to be talking about the "things expectant dads talk about in 1993", and for the relationship to grow. Turner also claims that about this time Sean provided Turner with his private phone number at the Fox News Channel. This is also false, since the Fox News Channel did not exist until the fall of 1996, over 3 years later.

When Turner writes:
"My wife gave birth to our son in June 1994, Seans wife gave birth to their child about a month later".

You now know it is a TOTAL and COMPLETE lie, does Newshounds plan to fix the inaccurate statements of their new "STAR REPORTER"??

You further quote your "New Reporter"
"Over the course of the next three or four years, Sean and I spoke regularly off the air about our kids, politics and news of the day. My on-air calls to his show remained regular and welcome."

Clearly this would be impossible since Sean did not have children. As program Director for WABC I can confirm that Hal did call into shows many years ago, starting with The Bob Grant show. I can also tell you that it was Sean Hannity himself who stopped allowing his calls through, almost a decade ago, because Sean did NOT like the tone and message of the calls. He has done this on many occasions and I applaud him for it. Turner claims that I ordered Sean to distance himself from Turner sometime in 2000. This is simply not true. I never ordered Sean to distance himself from Turner, because Sean did so on his own many years earlier.

Clearly Sean's instincts to ban him were right over a decade ago based on your own reporting of what this person presently stands for. Sean should be applauded for standing on HIS PRINCIPLES. While the Sean Hannity Show prides itself on allowing all points of views to be heard, I have watched Sean ban extremists views many times. The question is where are your standards? Why would Newshounds source and repeat the writings of a person you yourself describe as "neo-Nazi/white supremacist"? Is your desire to hurt Sean Hannity so great that you are willing to sink this low?

I have a word document going back years where your site (and those who make comments) have regularly and routinely called Mr. Hannity every name in the book. Are you really proud of this? And by the way, Who is funding your site?

Mark Noonan's vendetta against education: part 2

God, Mark Noonan and his neocon buddies must really fear an educated young person, if he resorts to saying crap like this.

Do read the whole thing as it neatly illustrates both the worthlessness of most modern liberal arts education, as well as the closed mind and leftwing bigotry prevalant at all too many colleges and universities. Can you imagine a graffiti professor? Can you imagine a teacher taking issue with the position of a paper rather than the quality of the argument? Also, for someone to say they “hate” a certain class of people - I thought colleges were supposed to be the home of broad minded people? Of course, we know better - they aren’t. The far left gained control starting in the late 60’s, and these days intellectual inquiry is nearly dead on campus.

And what is Mark's solution to the increasing rampant liberalism that has infected colleges and universities across the States? Do away with liberal arts, that's what!

What to do? My view is that our best option is to de-fund liberal arts education at the federal level…no college loans or grants for it. A rather harsh step, but the primary thing we’d be de-funding is really just leftwing propaganda on campus. Force colleges to choose between lefty indoctrination and having actual paying students, the colleges will mostly drop the liberal arts courses…save for those few which are so popular that the kids are willing to pony up for them on their own (and my further bet is that such a devastation of liberal arts would allow center and right people to enter the field on a competitive basis…see who gets the more students: a course on American history taught by a conservative, or a course on Herstory taught by a bitter feminist…)

You heard him right: his solution to counter forceful liberal indoctrination.....is to inject a forceful conservative indoctrination.

God, is he ever going to hate this college-bound African-American male.......
