WASHINGTON – An economic crisis, rising joblessness and a credit squeeze can make a president-elect refine his words. Today's word is "repeal." During his presidential campaign, Barack Obama promised to repeal President George W. Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy ahead of their scheduled expiration in 2011.
It was part of how Obama would pay for an overall net tax cut aimed at low- and middle-income taxpayers, and an effort to bring what he called "fairness" to the tax system.
No one is talking tax hikes now.
What the hell is up with this, libtards? We've got a tanking economy, massive unemployment, and declining tax revenues. Isn't this the perfect time to raise taxes on the rich?
Seems like Hussein Obsama is admitting that higher taxes are bad for the economy. Punishing the productive will have to wait, apparently.
Libtards: Economic dumbasses, and Hussein Obsama is counting on it.
What's my IP now?
Do something about it.
Didn't think so.
Democrat economic dumbasses, part deux:
Why Canada Loves Nancy Pelosi
Her protectionist stance has helped open markets – for others
In a grim world economy, the news that Canada and Colombia signed a free trade agreement at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Lima last week is something to celebrate. Unless you are an American farmer or manufacturer.
So criticizing Hussein Obsama's "policies" is off limits until January 21? Don't think so. Why are you so interested in silencing opposing viewpoints?
Newshounds' post was boring and stupid so I'm helping out by changing it.
